hello uk420

need some advice on using ionics for soil grow and bloom

got some AK47 on the go, 8 days into 12/12, when do i start to feed them and at what dosage. says 7ml/ltr so take it that be full strength

should i give them grow only to inhibit stretch or a mix

also is it too late to transplant them into bigger pots, dont want to stress them at this stage

should i get hold off some ionic boost or is that for hydro only

been reading about soil starter kits with nice lovely very small things in it, is it worth while to get.

final question (honest) is it worth collecting rainwater and sterilising and filtering or is plain good old council juice out the tap ok

things you do to have a decent smoke for christmas and new year

I have no experience of these feeds you mention so am not really able to advise you on correct amounts. But 7ml /ltr sounds like the full strenghth to me start on a lot less and see how it goes maybe. unsure.gif

It is best to pot on to the last pot size prior to flowering, but you can pot on if necessary during flowering, as you are so early in flowering it may be worthwhile.

I really am not sure of the answers to this. unsure.gif

You can use rainwater for your plants but it is best treated first to get rid of unwanted bacteria, you can treat using h202 24 hours prior to using it. I have very hard tap water and it does the job just fine for my plants. Dunno if they would be any better using rainwater seems a lot of bother to me. wink.gif

Hope that helps a bit.

Hey there buddy,

the 7ml is the maximum dose, why choose ionic anyways?? Many many peeps prefer a nice organic smoke for their percy and use the Biobizz nutes, works out cheaper too. Anyways soz for the waffle lol.gif , you won't need to mix the grow and bloom, just sling in the bloom but sparingly i.e do 3.5ml/l to begin with and watch yer plants, if they still appear a tad hungry then on yer next feeding up it slightly to 4/4.5.

As EO says, not at all, this way you won't have to feed for a coupla weeks (soil/compost permitting of course)

The ionic boost is a week pk boost, tbh I wouldn't bother but each to their own.

Only you can decide their m8, but what I will say is look to see what u get in the kit and if you really do need it all, if not price all the individual items up seperately wink.gif

Hope this has helped yinyang.gif

thanks for replying everyone

Webby, the plan is to go full organic next year, going to try this first grow in soil to see what involved. no problem about your waffle, i like to hear everyones ideas and preferences, ideas are born from them

EnigmaticOne, can i ask what dose of H2O2 to give them (15% stuff), can undersatand about killing off any nasties in the water but would like to keep alive the good bacteria and fungi in the soil.

hello nap,

well I really have no clue about what measure of h202 to use in the water tbh, I have never used it myself.

But if you use it 24 hours prior to watering then all the h202 will have dissipated leaving the water nice and clean. It just changes back to hydrogen and oxygen as it consists of those 2 elements only.

thanks EO, knew about leaving it 24 hours to let the chlorine evaporate, but not about the H2O2

learn something new everyday
