Check the 420Store.. plenty of choice, and all from reputable seedbanks.

ive only ever heard or read good things about female seed.nl untill i asked about this !!! a lot of people on other sites say they have good results from them but maybe the skunk special isnt so special after all

lads n lasses, I have grown out big x nl from female seeds and am currently growing easy bud from them. I have never had any issues with them!

I suppose I would be a bit dubious of anything with the title "special" in it, a bit like that dodgy kebab shop down the corner with its gut wrenching special kebabs!

my experience is that Nirvana are shite - tho some seeds are ok from the reports. In my first and only batch of Nirvana purple, only 7/10 seeds germed - took 7 - 10 days - 1 was malformed and died - got 3 females that took 11 weeks to flower!!!! (they originally said 49 days - then 8 weeks - then 60 days)

and in the 11th week - they f#$%&# hermed!!!

Since then have tried DP, Delta 9, and Sag - all have been shit hot so far!!

Andy - as I read it you want grower info about this strain? But you seem to have already read loads of reports on it on other sites - so is this just "further research" or are you suspicious about something?

i smoke so much bud i tottally forgot i was told they are nirvana fems and i havent read any reports on skunk special at all i have read about other female seeds strains but not skunk special otherwise i wouldnt be asking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi al my first post although been registered for ages !! mainly resident at UKC ./..

I must say Ive grown out alot of this seed banks starins with decent results ... my present grow is from clones of grapefruit which I plant to grow again !! 1st class!! extremly potent , sticky , great yield, easy and a joy to grow ! ..

I know people are afraid of cheap seeds ,, there not all bad ! ....

p.s. skunk special for me however did produce a few seeds , but decent smoke . with medium yield ..

Got to agree scientist on the grapefruit, it is first class herb, 8 weeks flower for a quality sativa, nice up cindy 99 high, covered in resin and an unreal yeild. I did an extended veg and topped it twice, it just went crazy in flower, plant was like 3 ft x 3ft x 5ft by the time it had finished and produced about 15 big top colas. Also these are female and not feminised seed so turning this one hermie will take a concerted effort. Its an awesome plant. This is some 4 month cured GF buds, not the best pics but you get the idea.

Also grown out the skunk special, its nice herb but it does have a few hermie tendancies.

My favourite so far from team FS have been the Nevs Haze hybrid and some freebie WW x C99 they gave me. The Nevs haze is just amazing, although it is a hybrid of Nevs and Jack herer, it is very NL and Haze dominant, no fruity skunkyness in any of the pheno's I grew out. It wipes the floor with most strains I have smoked. Takes patience though, I flowered mine for 12 1/2 weeks, the NL dom pheno was ready but the Haze pheno could have done with another couple of weeks really, it's still amazing pot but I cant help thinking what it could have been if I hadnt had to chop and left it for a bit.

had anyone ever noticed how sensitive to ferts the taller pheno is !! opss i burned it today , flush flush flush and the other pheno well you could grow it in pure cow dung and it would b ok ...

what yields has people obtained from this strain ?, hydro or soil ? veg time ? would b nice to see a comparrision in the strain guide for this ...

I have to say i think its funny people slaggin of fms company fair enough im no pro but ive bought enough weed over time to know what puts me on my ass , fms make mostly female seeds grapefruit was very potent and this grapefruit x neviles haze bud i nipped off at 8 weeks was unreal in potency.

not had any hermies no bad germination nothing i honestly think some people give these a bad press withought even trying them , lets face it why should a set of 10 seeds cost u 90 quid ??? .

Also i like having female plants not waiting to see how many are female before chopping etc nice to know u plant 20 and will get around 20 females not plant 20 and get 8 or 9 .

Obviously as uk420 grow shop dont sell em i can see why they dont approve or say they aint all that .

I kinda reckon most other seeds with a high price have a higher mark up maybe thats one reason not to sell these cheaper seeds.

Only my oppinion which dont count for much but i can only go by what ive grown so far.

Its a mystery to me why people slag them of to. FS are not nirvana, just the same as shanti, who now works as the breeder for Mr Nice is nothing to do with the greenhouse.

The main guy at FS from what I have been told and from direct contact is a very good breeder and anything good at Nirvana is likely to have had his influence, ICE CCup winner 98 Indica. *FS are releasing Fem'd Ice beans - got mine already ;o).
