I've been veging my plants from 6am to midnight giving them 18 hours a day and am about to go 12/12, I was wondering would it be ok pror to changing light cycles to let the light go off at midnight and then change to 12/12 flower by switching the light back on at 7 in the evening and then go 12/12 from seven in the evening to seven in the morning, its just that it would be more conveniant for me that way but I was wondering if it would upset the plants having a 19 hour sleep while changing from veg to flower?

In my experience it will be absolutely fine mate.
I've read some experts even recommend 3 days of darkness to reset the cycle and induce a quicker flowering response. Some people also say 36 hours is enuff. But u will be fine doing that I think.

That will be no worries mate i did the same thing last grow and had no problems what so ever

more dark is ok, if light cycles have to be swapped for any reason, such as running the lights at night instead of daytime, always give them a longer dark period then switch to the new regime.
