I have done a stupid on some low qual seeds. new 1's arriving on fri,
about half of my 2 plants have i think nutrience burn, from my DOH miricle gro
GAAH only till i asked my mum she said it wasnt suitable 4 seedlings,

so i bashed up a new order

and happy plantings in basic poht-com.

can i pot up after 3-4 weeks into miricle grow? or just stick to the basic stuff and my bio-bhizzage?

You don't mention if the burn has been caused by either using Miracle Gro compost, or the Miracle Gro nutrients, but whichever it is, don't use it!

Personally, I don't apply any nutrients for the first few weeks of vegging at least (get a good compost and there won't be any need for additional ferts for the first little while.)

I'm not sure what you mean by 'the basic stuff', I think you're meaning some sort of multipurpose compost? If so, then you could use this, but your best bet would be to get a bag of john innes for seedlings and cuttings or something similar.

(Incidentally, I've used that Miracle Gro compost, and while it did the job, I think it worked out to be more expensive than using all-mix!)

I hate the whole range of miracle grow products, they are not balanced enough for canna growing and way too hot for seedlings. So due to my personal dislike of it I will recommend against using it.

You could pot on into the miracle grow compost, but if you have any other compost there, you may as well stick to it.

Peeps do use the miracle grow tho, with some degree of success. So don't let me put you off it if you have already bought it.

I must tell you I am having a problem with MG products myself, its way to freakin hot!!! DO NOT USE MG compost it just toasted my plantys...... All mix is the way to go or something way neutral ph wise!!!! Shoot for 6.5-6.8 plantys love it like that, watch out when you feed test your water after it has set for about a half hour after mixing and make triple sure that its not too hot PH wise..... Acidic soil will nute lock your plantys so look up 2 lines and make sure your at 6.5-6.8 and you and your plantys will get to celebrate!!!
