Hi

I am on 3rd grow (I have done 2 outdoor and one indoor). And have few thoughts to share.

I kept a male this time just for experimentation. Totally opposite end of the garden to the 2 holland hoop ladies and behind a shed. I dabbed a bit of pollen on the lower buds of the girls as an experiment. I thought trying to produce a few seeds (Northern Lights male, Holland Hoop female) would be good experience.

Turns out I didn't have to dab. That pollen made it's way from 60 feet away behind the shed to give me quite a few seeds in most of the buds. Probably 100 or more. But I tell you what, this cheapy Holland Hoop is the strongest and nicest smoke I have grown so far. The seeds haven't affected it's potency. Yield is a little less though. But still got 3 oz dry. I have grown strong strains like Blueberry, White Rhino, and Skunk Special. I am very very suprised with this cheapy pack.

Some of the seeds are right size but still green and not speckly brown like the others. Out of interest, are they likely to be viable?

These 3 grows have given me enough personal for at least a year.

Nice site.

Doh!!!

My shed has a bees nest!! I can't believe I didn't consider that?

Not that I am unhappy. I wanted seeds, and this is suprisingly nice strong weed.

Pollen will travel in the wind for great distances, well beyond 6o ft.
One hell of an early strain ya grew. Or did u chop her early?

It was cheapy Kulu Holland Hoop. And I much prefer it to the Dutch Passion Blueberry, FemaleSeeds Skunk Special, and Nirvana White Rhino that I grew a few months back (inside 400W Maxibright), and the White Rhino I grew outdoors last year (my first grow). Though I did chop earlier than previous cos I like the idea of having more THC than CBD. I've been bringing them inside to my darkened spare room for 12 hours per day for 55 days. It seems to me that September/October flowerings run the risk of no sunshine and loads of rain. Doing it this way means they get loads of sun when they most need it.

Good plan mate as long as you can get her in and out without suspicion. My neighbours would see me. I hate this time of year as I always have to sneak down to greenhouse at the dead of night, grab my plants and run back up the path with out being seen. Just had to do it with that Grapefruit.
I can't let em go full term in GH as they get budrot cos I can't give em proper ventilation again cos of neighbours seeing thru the doors etc.

The plants are well hidden. Lady next door is Jamaican so possibly isn't against it. But I take no chances.

Are the new found seed hopefully for growing next year?

If so and you have loads why not just try to germinate a few of them and see what they do.

Enjoy your smoke. smoke.gif

16oz from those 2 girls. That's shocking isn't it? I didn't realise I had grown that much. It doesn't look like 16oz, but that's what it weighs!

Plus over 100 Holland Hoop/Northern Light seeds.

Holland Lights?

Northern Hoop?
