its only free til level 6 and then you have to pay to continue. BUT, because its a beta you get it $12, about 6 quid and will never have to pay anything more. The game will be selling for about $25 when released and you will be getting updates from the game as they are made available.
Its not online, although it looks it, Its more like old style RPGs like Kings Bounty on the megadrive but with a really good combat system and battle system, you can get to ride a horse into battle and raise armies.

I like it anyway, considering its just a beta.
