Ok , this is my selection for 2005. Smaller selection than last year but hopefully a fruitfull one. Last year yielded me about 3.5 keys which was great but i needed to smoke abot 2.5 to get over the anxiety incurred due to the paranoia of growing the bloody plants.
These are my plants.
1 x mighty mite superskunk x early gold (mms x eg)
3 x mighty mite superskunk x texeda timewarp (mms x tt)
2 x biddy early

Nice plants. What do ya neighbours think? They'll get much bigger when they flower properly as I'm sure you know.

Cheers fitduck.
None of my neighbours can see in the bottom of the garden and at the bottom of my garden is a large river which hopefully prevents thieves.

man you are so lucky. Where I live now I can use a greenhouse, but I can't let em flower properly. I also take cuttings to keep em down and I have to bring em in to flower as the smell would be noticeable. Bud rot is also a problem. Still the greenhouse is well handy.
I have done a few outdoors, but a good while ago. Am on the hunt for a good place for next year. I love growing outdoors - it's good fun and the plants have a different kind of lifestyle and way of maturing. Big buds and big yields are deffo a bonus too. Good luck mate, they're gonnna be sweet. I have the most gorgeous grapefruit in my greenhouse, but due to not being able to extend the height of my greenhouse (she's 6.5ft) I've had to cut the poor girl to pieces. She's got a base stem the size of a small tree. I'll post some pics in a few days.
Anyhow, like I said - good luck, I'm well jealous

OK , time for a little update. First the mighty mite superskunk x early gold. Nice looking plant, seems to be starting to flower and is at about the same stage as the biddy earlies.
benji
Aug 15 2005, 07:33 PM
Here is one of the biddy earlies. Seems to be growing quite bushy unlike last year when they were a very tall xmas tree shape. Seeds were left over from last year so it must just be either a different pheno or the different weather this year.

This is the start of a biddy bud. Give it a week and these will be nice little clusters.

Here is my show stopper, the mighty mite superskunk x timewarp from vision creator seeds. This bugger just wants to flower and nothing is going to stop it. Being six foot tall and five foot wide is nice as well.

Anyone growing outside should get some of this. Not only does it leach out the nutrients but if your plants aint going to finish in time, this will help ripen them. Last yaer i added it to any plants still not finished by mid october and it was bloody good stuff.

Its been about 4 weeks since my last update and an interesting four weeks it has been. The next set of pics are of the largest mightymite superskunk x time warp. I doubt it will be the biggest yielder ( about 250 grams) but if you wanted it could be harvested now and i am only going to give it one more week.

This is a nice view of my four remaining plants. One mighty mite superskunk x early gold , one blackberry widow ( green pheno ) and two biddy earlies. All of these are starting to reach full bloom. I have some more in a greenhouse which are much more sativery and are a bit of an experiment.

This is some heads of the mighty mite superskunk x early gold. Early signs show it could be a bit of a monster as long as the bud rot stays away.
