Hi Rik01
EC stands for Electro Conductivity. EC is a measure of the amount of nutrient present in a solution cool.gif

hey thanks if that does that what does the cf meter do?

the meter tells you the streanth of your nuetrients that your feeding your plants

by measuring the electo conductivity of yer nuetrient as stated before

i think ya need to have a good read of the hydro problem solver and faq pages plus do a heavy bit of searching aroudn the forum wink.gif

Second that smoke.gif

EC (electoical conductivity) is related to PH. Optimal EC = 2.0 (Using a truncheion), and optimal PH range is 5.8 - 6.2 (Using a PH meter)

These 2 impliments, or instruments (toos of the trade) are indespensible to growing hydro style smoke.gif
