i am totally fed up with my crappy digicam so needing a new camera but havent a clue what one to get.

can anybody give any advice on what camera i should get, but not too expensive tho got to save some pennies for my holiday.

what about second hand cameras is it worth the risk going and getting one from cash genarater.
