I want to grow my own because fed up of the same shit being delt. smoked some blueberry and i knew i had to grow it. speaking to a couple of growers and they tell me it's a hard strain to grow.i still want to attempt it. my set up is closet growing type (7ft tall 5ft wide) 400whatt sodium 2-4 plant nft exhaust fan rigged upto thermerstat and hydrostat. can you give me some pointers on ideal set up for blueberry please peace clokey

The important thing to remember about blueberry is that she is really sensitive to over ferting. Keep your cf between 1.5 and 1.8, and the ph around 5.6
She is a leggy bitch as well - don't overveg her, or she will take over your grow cupboard.
What I would suggest doing is grow the seeds up into mother plants, and chuck away any males - then take clones from the most promising one and use those for your grow.
Its a fiddly strain is blueberry - she can mutate, and behaves in all sorts of strange ways - she takes a long time to root from clones, and does not like extremes of temperature.
However she is worth it. A good blueberry is one of the nicest smokes you can get
To get the colour out of her, just drop the temps in your growroom down a bit when you are in 12/12 - at around 60 degrees at night is when she shows her colours properly
Just keep an eye on your nutes, ph and temperature and you should be OK mate.

cheer's for replyig omh. most of my small knowledge has come from the bible and so i followed it in the germination. got some slightly suspect feminized blewbury seeds on the cheap soaked them in water for 24 hours. their in a small propagator in the airing cuboard in 2" rockwall cubes with a bit of cotton wall, from soak to now 6 days.. im germin 8 hoping to get 4. im using a bit of hydro ferilizer in water sprayer. 1 of the seeds is going great out side shell fell of, one is just starting to brek though the rest still ungerminated looking temp is 25 celcius
don't feed them at this stage in their life mate - you can easily burn them and kill them - just keep them moist with water.
You should soak rockwool cubes for 24 hours before using them as well - they are pretty alkaline. Soaking them in water buffers the ph, so its a better evironment for the seedlings

going to start over! only 2 out 8 seeds germinated and my girlfriend nocked over my propagator snapped of the first leaves. man im gutted thinking of going for a easyier strain peace clokey

The strain has nothing to do with them mishaps mate, could have happened to anything
..Blueberry aint hard to grow at all, i've grown her several times and i've only been growing just over a year now .....

new bloke cloke here got a grower to sort us out a 10" plant ready to go straight in the hydropics. thinking of growing her up and taking clones for first crop. he says its a hash plant, i thught he was taking the piss aparently its strain of the bis, any one conirm this? peace
