hello all great site. my problem is that i have two females in a cuboard on 12/12 they have been on that for 5 weeks and are doing great they were only baggy seed and are only under flo tubes so didnt expect much but all is well. so i thought as u do if i can do this with these why not get some good seeds.so i did got some skunk no1 seeds germanated 5 and to my joy 5 came up.all well so far,now they are on the window sill thay are about 7-8 days old they are very spindaly i have put them in big pots 30 cm and poted them deeper but they still seem to be weak am i doing anything wrong or am i just worring.ps i have just got a 400watt hps awaiting delivery.when i get this,it will b going over my 2 girls and the flo tubes over the 5 babys till thay get biger hopfully by the time the two girls are ready 4 harvist the babys will b big enough to go under the 400 thats if they r still alive so any advise would b great thanks colin cry.gif

hi colin sounds like there not geting enough light mate . 30 cm pots are a bit big for the age of them as well .put them under the floresents for lights on then put them back on window sill before lights go off yinyang.gif

Yip as Kali said. guitar.gif Smaller pots and then pot up 1eye.gif I go from 1inch to 3inch - 6", let them get a nice root ball and then pot on yinyang.gif

Sounds like to big a pot for week old seeds.

haveb you any extraction in your cupboard unsure.gif Youll need it for a 400w

yea mate,watch that 400 watts in a little drobe,they kick out a fair bit of heat.
and maybe try a fan blowing on them,i'm no expert but a little breeze mite strengthen your stem's - that should also thicken them up.
maybe someone could varify this as i'm new to it myself.? good luck buddy

thank guys for all your info,as i said am a bit of a newbie. forgot to water the babys in the big pot as well had them under lights last night.woke up this morning to 3 of my babys crisped opps. well have started to germanate 2 more wont make the same mistake this time.as they say u learn from your mistakes a bit costly i know. as for the cuboard it is about 1and half metres wide by 2 metres long by 4 metres hieght.i have one six inch fan on my females+1 pipe blowing in fresh air from the loft and 1 pipe taking stale air out into the loft also have a clip on six inch fan that i am going to use to blow cool air across the 400 when i get it should be here by midle of next week .will it b alright to use that set up it wont hurt my girls will it dont wont to damage my girls as they only have about three to four mor weeks till harvist once again thanks for all the help this place feels like home he he

Hi colin and welcome wink.gif you gotta do some reading in the forums man its all brilliant reading.you say you have to females in your supboard on 12/12 have they got good buds? what u feeding them with ? and are you sure your g/room is

yes big cuboard upstairs goes up into the loft,as for my females they are about 4 foot,dont no what they are as they were baggy seed but two females out of two plants is a result.as for the buds they are not brill but i didnt think they would b as at the mo they are only under two flo tubes.they are both in 30cm pots with john innes compost mixed with some sand for drainage and sand at bottom of pot.i am feeding them onbaby bio once a week at full strenth.as this is my first grow i am well chuft and i think i am hooked on this growing thing i am now about five weeks into 12/12 and they smell and look lovely and all the top leaves are all got loads of the white cryistals over them nice he he.i am just having trouble with the plants i have just germanated started with five fryed three of them left with two good ones also put two more skunk no1 seeds in to germanate yesterday oh well have another go as i said great site great reading very very help full thanks to everybody for the hep will go now before this turns into an esay he he ps please excuse the spelling cry.gif
