7 outdoor guerrilla grow threads in active topics thumbsup.gif

For those perhaps contemplating an outdoor grow, but as yet not got into action, GET GROWING lol.gif

The sunlight's free, hardly any 'equipment' needed, loads of information to help you on your way right here in the forum and the UK420 seedbank/store with loads of outdoor strains that you could need to get growing.

Why not, eh? wink.gif

Too right BB... wink.gif .... I reckon - at the very least - most indoor growers could spare a plant and find a nice private little spot.... ph34r.gif

You know you want to..... wink.gif

Never done it, but can't argue with that logic.

Next season..........

I've got plenty of spare cuttings but nowhere to grow any outdoors, I'm still looking for a decent spot.
impsvi
growing outdoors, is great fun
if your looking for a spot to grow think about human traffic (not the film) places were no one goes cos it to hard to get to or its just to far away for anyone to bother.

Find a gaint bramble bush for example that is so big you cant see over it or in the middle of it.

O yeah did someone say the roots of braken is bad for cananbis?
Also could someone help me out with my other post my soil is to strong! , thanks

I got seven beauties ready to grace a wild welsh hillside, bit concerned about this heatwave though, it's going to be a bastard to water all these every other day. Does urine do any damaged to plants? My grandad use to piss on his onions, said it made them bigge
I am so excited though.
let's make the world a greener place.

yippee

Tim- if u r fairly near some coast land in Wales, south, north or west then u may still get odd bits of rain passing in and out.

i may be planting in the south wales and inland in england and am more worried about english weather.

There's still 7-8wks of natural light vegetative time for most outdoor varieties thumbsup.gif

It's getting a bit too late to grow from seed but there's still plenty of time to take some cuts and get them outside.

Ding Ding, Round 2006 is on it's way yahoo.gif guitar.gif yahoo.gif

Whether it's just a couple plants tucked away somewhere discreet or a small re-forestation project, now's the time to start thinking about seeds.

If you're planning on growing a couple mums and putting out cuts now's the time to start buying what you want to grow, or, if you're just following through from seed to flower why not poke your head in here and pick out something that takes your fancy, then you can rest easy knowing that you have what you need to get germ'ing and growing in what's really just a month or two away thumbsup.gif

There's plenty in the shop to choose from and loadsa strains that are available there have been successfully grown out by members here on the boards, so there's plenty of relevant information on the boards to help you choose and REMEMBER, THE SHOP HELPS SUPPORT THE SITE so it's a double benefit in buying your seeds straight from the UK 420 shop and not from some other source where you have no idea of the company's security or the seeds' viability.

There were quite a few outdoor grows across the UK from our members last season and most folks faired well but this year I'd like to see even more, lots more in fact.

Gotta love growing outdoors for the beauty, thrill, adventure and the potential rewards for what is in effect an extra load of bud come autumn-time for very little cost whatsoever.

Make the most of what sunshine we get, grow outdoors.

Help make Britain a green and pleasant land, plant some cannabis plants.

Good luck to all our members considering an outside grow this year guitar.gif

It's great to see so many upcoming outdoor/guerrilla grows.

Wicked.. im growing outside this year.. ive got a load of laughing buddha seeds, which are almost pure sativa, so i dont know whether to grow them or not, knowing the weather over here and how long it takes these to flower.
what do you lot think, shall i just go out and buy some ones more geared for early flowering??
This is my first go at growing outside.. im pretty nervous(or i can tell i will be when i start anyway) my only problem is when the plants start getting big, and neighbours, but oh well.
Im growing in pots aswell, can anyone recommend a decent soil/compost i can pick up from a big retail chain store, does wilkinsons, tesco etc stock any?? i know of a couple big garden stores, but theyre quite a mission and u cant get there without a car(which i dont have, so its a lot less hassle if i can avoid going there)

grow rows of corn in a secton of your garden. hide your pots behind them. I am planning on bending my plants to restrict their height to below the corn. I am so eager I have some corn growing in a bucket already. bring on the summer!

Your laughing buddahs wouldn't finish in time x3, they're gonna take something like 3 months to finish and that'd be you way into late Oct or Nov or summat.

Tried and tested strains, 7-8wk flowerers is what you want thumbsup.gif
BushBandicoot
Hi hazy, down in England you could prob' pull the Taskenti if we have a good summer just after mid-Oct if it's going to be a 9wk flowerer but they're expensive seeds for most folks.

I'm sure there was a member here on the boards who leastways started one or two of canna biogens Taskenti last year but I'll be damned if I can remember who it was and I don't recall the thread going through to to the finish, then again, that's not to say that the reason was cause of the flowering time req'd and may well have been 'cause of some other reasons.

Re; long flowering hazes, can u UK blokes veg and start to flower them inside, then put them out for the last couple of months in the sun?

And what noxious bushes/creepers do you have in the UK that match MJs colour. In Oz they plant indica's in Lantana patches and it's almost impossible to see the MJ, even from the air - esp. the lantana with white flowers. A mate of mine plants lantana (sometimes blackberry) a few weeks ahead of the MJ, so they grow up side by side and no light is blocked. The obvious advantage to this is u can plant where you want (eg. next to water)

yeh i wondered, is it possible to force flower outside, and is it worth it? ive got 2 rooms outside(itd make sense if u saw it) which i can put the flowers in for total darkness(but i cant get no lights in there), i read somewhere i could trigger the plants into flower like this a bit earlier then normal.
if not, a £10 pack of 8 week nirvana plants it is smile.gif

oh yeh and, Im growing in pots aswell, can anyone recommend a decent soil/compost i can pick up from a big retail chain store, does wilkinsons, tesco etc stock any?? i know of a couple big garden stores, but theyre quite a mission and u cant get there without a car(which i dont have, so its a lot less hassle if i can avoid going there) i havent looked at all, and probaly wont do until the day comes when i go out and buy it all, so if i know the best compost to look for itd be a start, and mainly i needed answering is there any big retail chain stores that sells good ones?? i read on tescos website theyve got a compost, is it jank?

yep, guitar.gif u can force flower outside no worries - haze growers in Oz do it all the time. Is it worth it? Depends if you want the sungrown haze. In my book, definitely . What I do is put out the plants out at night so i dont have to worry about the mornings, then 12 hrs later (or less) whack em back in the shed and put it out later when dark (have to watch full moons tho - then put it outearly morning.

Cant help with the UK brand mixes , but if youre stuck and cant find a goodun, just get a cheapy (compost/potting mix), buy some manures/bio additives etc and make a good mix yourself - easy as and very forgiving. and probably better!

hey, garden growers. further to my mention on using plant screens to grow weed, I got this from bandicoot:

'If you're gonna grow corn as a screen (and you might want to post this up somewhere for others to see ) try and sow then plant your corn in succession, ie. at summat like 2 or 3 wk intervals, so that you'll have staggered growth across the season. Allow summat like only a couple feet between the plants and start your rows by planting the outside row first, then a few weeks after plant the next lot a couple feet nearer towards your plants and maybe one more after that. That way the outside row will grow up and conceal your plants, followed by the next a few weeks after etc and then they'll also die back from the outside first yet the innermost rows will still conceal your plants as we get further on in the season'

I shall definitely be using this approach, and my test grow corn is doing superb under sodium
I shall also be planting pampass and other grasses throughout to aid invisibility.
obviously this is easier when growing by a wall as there are less angles of view to nosey beaked biddies, rip offs etc.
don't get caught out, plant late and end up with rotten buds. get prepared NOW!

Now or asap would be good.

Ideally, if the pH needs adjusting, you want to get whatever you're going to use dug into the ground the previous autumn but now's a good time to get the soil well-turned over and your sites ready for when you go back to plant out if nothing's been done yet. thumbsup.gif
