I heard about this strain quite a while ago.
As far as i remember a mate had some at glastonbury a couple festivals ago
I did try it a couple times and to be totally honest it didn't do it for me, i honestly couldn't see what all the fuss was about.

cheese is skunk no1 from a sensi seeds around about 1988....its really smelly and if you are growing it you'll know if you have the real deal or not coz it gives you the fear in the last 2 weeks of flowering.

what bb says in WW is basically correct...and i hope his cross comes close to the original .

what has happened is that 'cheese' has become like a generic for strong smelly weed, i've been present when someone has turned u with a bag of buds having just scored what they have been told is cheese but patently isnt coz the name has a bit of kudos and will sell the product.

i'm sure the same thing has happened throughout the history of puff buying ...someone says i have some nice manali cream here but its £12/gram!!! well maybe its hand rubbed charas but there probabaly isnt enough space to grow weedin the valley now in amongst all the demobbed israelis listening to bob marley and it might come from the kulu valley but maybe its just some bit of hash knocked up by a tribal warlord in afghanistan to buy weapons....do you get my point?

The article is in Weed World i belive and there was a thread kicking around in Free4All about the hemp fair.

Been to Manali in person the place is tiny and full of Isrealies avoiding sign up.

Manali is really a small valley, when i spent time there the locals told me that on a very good year only 5 kg was produced there!

Iam growing some Cheese at the mo got 5 cuts off a mate in Birmingham.Seems easy to grow and looks a nice short indca type plant.I just heard that it was the shit smoked some and i liked the buzz.Everybody i know who gets a cheese cut always makes a mum and carrys on growing it.

We've had quite a bit of cheese going round our area at the moment, love the stuff!! got a few seeds aswell off my mate whos growing some cheese plants.

if you've got the room to grow them out you could find a good cross amongst them ,there isnt anyway of telling ..maybe bung them outside and see what you get ??

we pollinated a female sensi seeds nl with a male silver pearl ...nearly all the plants were rubbish ,tall spindly no good at all but one seed grew into a short fat resinous stinky monster ..it was ready at just over 6 weeks and really strong, unfortunately we never took a cutting and the plant died despite our attepts to regen...

its a sump system. the pipe with ihe gauge on is the bit that oxidises the water under presser.compressed air .not oxygenate oxidise. roots are awsome. fill the buckets already.. i need to ask you about the food im useing. apparently same as you GHE

i use GH on the 0 8 16 schedule...that means no grow and twice as much bloom as micro..to do this you need a reverse osmosis machine more expense!

the ro cleans the water so that when you sick ur truncheon in you get a reading of 0 b4 u add the nutes
doing it this way u can top up without accumulating shit in the tank.

part of the reason i got on line in the first place was coz i had read so much stuff about cheese on message boards that was just rumour and pure bollox.....strange when you know the pure truth about something and you get people telling you 'no its like this..or like that ' (but we know that from exodus innit?)

i'd seen cheese, peas, nebula..'G's..afghani cross etc. and the truth is more interesting anyway coz cheese or sensi seeds skunk no1 is so stable in its characteristics....ever noticed that its virtually impossible to get it to fuck up ?hermie or get stressed out ,thats coz its a genetically very stable plant and doesnt have the inherent traits to whiz off in different directions...this makes it ideal breeding material

i'd love to have the room and time to do some experimenting but i aint.. but there are some cool experiments ticking as we type,queijo has my undying admiration for crossing the cheese with every cannabis pheno known to man and BBs cheese is the most commercial venture i've seen and i'm sure there are many others....although i've heard there are cheese seeds in a shop in L&D too..nothing to do with BB apparently!
