Good morning everyone i trust we are all safe and well ??

My loft grow setup consists of the following, 1 125w blue enviro and various heated props for vegging in and a clipon fan, for flowering i use a 400w hps with a son t bulb, there is a 125 inline fan for extraction bit noisey but not unworkable this vents out of the loft through a vent tile, a shiny new 12" osc fan for inside and a 100 inline fan for intake, also picked up a heat mat for growing during the winter months keeps the pots a nice steady 10 degrees, i have also partitoned off the grow area just to hang the door and its done (only been at it since last year biggrin.gif )

here are some pics hopefully

1st one is of the partition, apologies for the quality i have kept the size right down

more to follow in the next post
toodles

me again glad that last photo posted ok me and technology are having a difference of opinion just recently pinch.gif

right next photo, the veg area, and my current grow, the 2 young plants are feminised WW at 3wks from germ and the babies are a strain called 'Goldenmoon' its a dutch passion mazar x'd with something called goldenskunk, no idea about this one just sounded like it should be good for pain relief, sorry also forgot to mention in my first post i use herb to combat chronic spinal pain so i dont grow any sativa's just indica, anyway on with the pics

the last photo is of my flowering tent, its basically a shortened grow tent so it would fit under the rafters, the mylar is being replaced this month before the new girls go in so hopefully there will be more photos when they start to get bigger

keep safe everyone

hydronaut told me, sound advice when cold air and hot air mix causes condensation smile.gif or sommet liek that

keeping the temps stable is the hardest battle in a loft grow, u get the xtremes of both sides

summer time really hot

winter time really cold

looks a ncie build tho smile.gif goldenskunk sounds intresting.

Great set up you have there. Wasnt brave enough to do such a big grow in my loft. Plus the missus would go spastic!

I built a room within the loft. Ive got through winter ok. Ive ensured the room is very well insulated and a heater has helped on lights out to maintain the temps.

Im hoping insualtion will also help this summer to keep it cool. But its something Id recommend either way.

Good luck with it all and keep us posted on how you get on. yinyang.gif

Hello fellow greenines,

many thanks for all the kind posts hope all your grows are growing strong and stinky smile.gif

hehe thanks arny, got there eventually wink.gif

lgv, i will get some more pics up later (at the Drs this morning) showing the rafters, basically i bought some polystyrene insulation blocks from wickes (diy place) £5 for 3 put these into the rafters and then stapled over them with a reflective backed bubblewrap insulation and so far the absolute highest temp i have had is 35c and that was midsummer, currently i am still using a heated prop up there as its still a little cool for me babies, also the flowering tent has a double outer skin of very thick bubble wrap which helps with temps and stops any light leaking in from the veg area

more to follow as it happens
keep safe everyone

hi everyone, hope your all safe and well ?

lgv here is a pic of the loft roof apologies for quality but it should give you the idea wink.gif

repotted my girls the other day all looking very healthy except one and i think i burnt that one with a seaweed overdose, got some new stuff called SM3 with an order from the organic gardening cataloge and its very concentrated, also i have attatched a piccie of my other new grow, the far left shoots are baby sweetcorn, the empty looking cells have a species of viola called 'lolita' and the very wispy looking seedlings are a poppy called 'Victoria cross' which develops a red flower with a white cross running through the centre should look stunning wink.gif

keep safe everyone

ahh, looks like you have really gone to town on the insulation there. Looks great.

Still maintaing similar temps despite the warming tempeatures outside so hopefully summer wont be too much of a worry.

Good luck with it all, I'll be sure to keep watching! smoke.gif
