Hello All

Im in the process of moving house at the moment, well i have moved all except my General' Daughter Growroom and my Silver Haze Growroom.

Just waiting for those to finish then i will have officially moved out

So as there is going to be another growroom added to my new house, ill be needing another veg/mother tent to supply the new flowering tent thats going to be added when my equipment is free from my old house.

Here are a few pics of me getting off my arse and doing something for a change

Im going to see how i get on with the 4 compact fluros but might add a 250 Metal Halide instead later, im not useing the MH at the moment because im worried about heat probs.

Anyway thats as much as i can do for now with this tent as my white/black/white plastic sheeting is in the loft and lights dont come on untill 7pm.

So ill have to wait a while

I am in the process of getting my finger oot ma erse and gettin on wi building a veg/mother room - that looks like what i was thinking - will you need extraction in there if you only use the fluoros ?

Also how much light would i be looking at for maybe 2 mothers and a maximum of 24 cutting at any one time .

Aye im going with the compact fluros simply cos my fecking house allready makes a buzzing noise with all the fans i have going.

But if it dont cut the mustard, and it better, or its a 250MH with a 4"RVK straight out of the window, i just havent got the balls to shove a 250MH into a tent ive built without direct extraction, and i dont want to unless i really have to

Ill finish off the post later today! and all ill be using is a 10" desk fan to supply the air movement, if it dont work ill go down the MH root.

However i have another mother tent in the same room, its not as tall but 3 foot wide by 7 foot long, and that has one of those DIY shops shower extractor fans,trying to do the job, its pish really,but better than nadda im hopeing it will handle the new tent aswell???? but i have Mrs Bom to please aswell...

Its not heat that pishes her off its the smell..............

Well you definitely dont need the compact fluros im using, and you cannot buy them from any big DIY chain.

However you can buy 4 foot long budget fluros ballest and bulb for between £7.50 to £ 10.00 you can then daisy chain all 5 together on a bit of wood. i made mine, 5 x four foot budget fluros on a bit of plywood sized 48" x 18".
I get very good vegging results from them, but the internodes stretch a tad more than under the compact fluros, and the stems arnt quite as thick.

But each fluro is only 38 wattts each so im covering a area 48" x 18" with only 190 watts of electricity being used.

And very very low heat output.
