I have tried playing audio streams in realplayer, and recording in windows media player, but its not having it.

Any suggestions?

Ermm, never tried it

but i would possibly suggest Cool Edit Pro

Didn't think you could, but just had a bit of a google and found this page, which seems to show how, looks a bit complicated though

to record streaming audio nothing beats 'Total Recorder' from http://www.highcriteria.com/

for recording real media and wmv try RM Recorder

Cheers guys, using a prog called Audiolib MP3 Recorder, a bit basic, but does what I want, once I found a serial number....
