Does anyone know if it possible (or worth for that matter) to convert oils that have been extracted using butane as the supercritical fluid into a block of hash. Rather than keeping it as an oil???? All help appreciated

Hello ,
73u Bubblehash is usually my thing but I only use fresh stuff for this , all the dried up scraps make up little 'temple balls' . I'll take some pictures of the lump of oilhash I have once I can find some batteries for the camera wink.gif Here's my recipe smoke.gif
Leftover leaves/airbud is gound to a powder . Stalks are ground separately and placed straight into the Honeybee . Leaves are run through a hand tumbler , given a good shake but not for too long , just so it's orangy . Skuff is put to one side then shaken stuff is emptied into the honeybee . Repeated until all ground up stuff is given a shake and the remains placed into the Honeybee . Honeybee should be loosely packed 75% full and then butaned with a 250ml tin of Newport . After butane is fully evaporated , oil goes into the freezer with cling film over the bowl . 24 hours later bowl removed and frozen oil scraped with a credit card . Second credit card is used to add and 'massage' the skuff into the oil on the card , adding more skuff into the oil rather than the other way round . This helps to get the consistency right , the result should be soft like shit redseal . The oil/skuff mix is then rolled into a ball and squeezed flat , I usually wait a day before smoking . Makes a very nice smoke , nice texture and sticky wink.gif Rolls into little thin sausages . Strong too , use the remaining oil for an added kick . Bubblehash and oil is another story , a bit too much for me lol.gif ! whistling.gif

did the same thermio...

saved up cheese (what i thought was wat we called chinese pink) and Jack Herer skuff and honey bee'ed the green dust in the bag.... made a mix and was due in hospital... the idea was to smoke it outside the hospital...

great stone, full flavour with drysift... and real funny watching nurses trying to figure out why your blood pressure just dropped all of a sudden. wink.gif

I use a similar method thermio. i use dry sifted skuff mixed up with oil in about a 2:1 skuff:oil with two razor blades on a tile so any oily residue can be scraped off. i then leave it overnight with a fan heater blowing on it to remove the last traces of solvent and moisture. i then add another pile of skuff so its about 5:1 and mix it up again. i then put it in a cellophane or wax paper bag and walk around on it for a couple of days to press it. i often take it out, fold it in half and walk on it again to keep it roughly square and fairly thick. the result is hard when cold, but when held in the hand goes gooey and squishy like blue tack and is vaquely similar to nepelese. i like to roll it into thin sausages and wack it in a joint or smoke it in a chillum.
if you want it to go hard as scum bar mix it with soil or coffee powder, or finely ground weed/stalk at about 10:1 if you like your lungs and it will be more like maroccan carramello

Hello ,
I have found that by dropping the skuff into the oil when it's about 90% evaporated (large bubbles forming) the consistency is better and less mixing is required . It is always much better to smoke after roliing flat and leaving for a week and I feel the skuff gives it a better flavour . I haven't made jellyhash for a while , seem to have lost my bubble workbag DOH ! ...and I've got a load of trim just sitting there in the freezer too

cheers

What? Putting soil in his hash? cry.gif
No diss mate, but why the hell? Smoke soil? unsure.gif
grobag
Soil? Coffee? That has to be a joke, surely! unsure.gif I like the 'or weed/stalk' like there's a comparison! NO IMPURITIES! thank you.

If you feel a need to make oil into hash then Jelly seems the obvious option. My prefered ratio is 9:1 resin:oil. Dry sifted resin (ie. from a crystal catcher is easy, bit by bit until right) or bubble if you have bags. But Jelly is a seriously strong product and if you are thinking of changing oil back to hash to make it weaker then don't bother making oil! Just make shit hash from plant matter.

If you want to make it better: go for jelly.
If it is too strong as it is, don't make it again, make something different.
