Bangi Haze
[attachmentid=34914]
Bangi Haze, one of the fastest hybrids of our collection will finish around 9-10 weeks. It’s name comes from the strong hazy incense Nepalese aroma which will capture your senses immediatelly and the Congolese presence in the high.
It’s a short and compact plant full of generous trichomes with medium internodals and medium yield but thick nugs. It has been bred and improved for indoor growers.
Very up and strong sativa high with immediate uplifting effects which will keep you active for a while.

High ACE and everyone at UK420!
Embalmer, your Bangi Haze turned out GREAT looking.

I have one female 4-5 wks in flower. I started 3 seeds. I had a whorled phyllyotaxy(three leaves at each node) too. It was male. Also got a male-hermie and a female. The girl is looking great expect spotting on the large fan leaves. Not sure what thats about. I also have your Oriental Express that will be getting grown soon............hopefully.

Thanks for these unique genetic offerings, ACE.

Good day!
WWB, thanx for the feedback! How were the conditions to turn the plant hermie? It's very very rare to see hermie traits in bangi haze. It has been worked in 5 generations and we haven't experienced hermie traits in the last generations. Please keep us updated with your smoke report

Embalmer, thanx for trust in our genetics again. We hope you enjoy the Nepalese Jam and Orient Express too
pickle121, the bangui haze is going to enjoy your good vibes! Thanx for start a diary brother!
Some bangui haze close to harvest. They have been grown indoors organically by trixer, a spanish grower. Vegetative under 250 HPS and flowering using 400 HPS.
Good vibes to all!

No problem.
Make sure to have them in resonably large containers, i think having them in small pots will increase the chance of males.

That is absolute bollox. I have grown BH 3 times under 400w HID lighting, both HPS and MH, with no major male issues in relatively small, 9 Litre, final pots.
What is small, and what is large? What growing medium? What kind of Enviro? You do not state.

That is absolute bollox.
It's something i have always taken as truth since reading "Marihuana Grower's Insiders Guide" by Mel Frank ... first growing book i owned

Page 185, mid way down ... reads as follows :
"According to recent scientific findings in the U.S.S.R a root system restricted early in growth discourages female development and encourages more males to form in
Cannabis."

I was wondering if anyone could give me an average time their BH seeds took to germinate. I'm on day 7 now, my 3 Orient Expresses germinated days ago, and one solitary Bangi has poked its head through the soil today, after germinating 2 days ago.
The other two are yet to show the slightest inclination of popping. I'm considering trying to start two more... I was really lusting after some Bangi

Cheers for any info you have,
Dave.

Good day poopy,
Bangi Haze is more a columnar plant so she usually works better SOG style. But if you prefer to veg them a little more than usual, you can train all your main colas, put them together under the screen and put the secondary stems inisde the holes. It could work if they grow too tall and your space is limited. I hope you enjoy wit hthe grow! dubi

I have been looking for a decent sativa that i can grow indoors, i'm trying to avoid dutch genetics, and A.C.E seem to have some quality strains that fall right into this category. unfortunately my growing area is not very tall, about 6 foot or just over from floor to hot-hot light, and with pots taken into account its even less, leaving me not a lot of height to grow in.
bangi haze is described as being compact, in the grand scheme of things, considering how tall some sativas grow, a 'compact' sativa could still be very tall when compared to some hybrids and indicas, how much does it stretch during flowering? is it likely to be a case of putting them straight under 12/12 from the start or certainly very near? are there any of your other strains which stay quite short?
cheers
