Seems like everyone is building growrooms at the moment!
I've been meaning to get round to sorting my flower room out for ages but just never got round to it. Having a little problem with the exhaust and condensation prompted me to get my lazy stoner ass into gear! ehem!
So where to start....
Before the re-vamp i ran 3x600's over 2 areas. Each area having staggered flowering times/strains. 1x600 was mounted on a rail above various diy f&d systems. The other 2 ended up static over 2 low level f&d tables.
It worked fine,but the way id set the areas out was a bit botchy and i could have improved greatly on the light coverage. Also it was alot of work keeping the staggered grows going and the problem of drying them elsewhere than the room they were grown in caused greater problem, mainly smell.
So, i ripped i all down!
Lets start again....

First up was washing down all the walls with fungicide. This mould was the result of the extraction blocking up for about a week, scary!

Next up was washing/soaking all the hydro gear in a strong Hydrogen Peroxide solution.

Next up was to get the 3 rails lined up with theyre respective tables below....

Heres a pic of the 1st res to go in, you see at the top the pump which will feed the table above. Further down is the heater and pump used to agitate the nuits. Air line runs the whole length. I find if you keep your nuit solution well aerated and constantly moving it not only lasts longer but your plants will love you for it.

Handy to use one way valves on your airlines in case of accidents and especially if your airpumps are lower or the same level as your res. I've had nuits back up the line on more than one occasion.

Next up was getting the lights attached, you gotta watch rails for a period of time after 1st putting up in case your cables are gonna snag anything. Obvious but it happens.....

Its not possible to have my light ballasts outside the room so i stuck them up high close to the ceiling.

Placing the filter proved tricky as to the amount of moving cable going on!

On counting im using 24 plugs in this room, a room i might add with only 2 sockets in! Thank fook i know a spark to run me a line straight from the fuse box!

Handy litle thing from Argooos!
Has a probe you can put into yer inlet so you can moniter how cold the air coming in is, as well as room temp and humidity!
Not bad for £7

So this is the start of that whole hashish phenomenon you got going on. impressive and if i may say....youre dam shiney in there.

Thanks for the kind words all....

A little update.....

Its been a few weeks and the room is running fine with no real problems other than the odd bit of gaffa taping and the like. I could probably use a larger fresh air intake fan which ill have to look into getting in the next few weeks as the weather improves.
I've had to replace one of the oscillating fans to a larger unit to help push the air around a little better and make the odd adjustment here and there on the tables flood times etc.

All systems are go!!!!





p.s....tip......anyone thinking of using rails dont just rely on the rail stops they supply with it, use wood screws(see pic) as a backup, fire is not an option!
