ok, i wasnt really sure where to post this so i just posted here, i am starting a first time grow with a friend an we are not sure of the strain we sould grow, it will be a sinle plant, with a small lighting system, we will be using soil and organic growing techniques, basically we would like a balance of potency and ease of growing.

hit the search button mate and look in grow diaries or strains.
All you need to know is there.

i went with skunk no1 for my first go. cheap as chips and a proven performer. worked a treat it did too

this my first time growing and I went ith skunk no.'1 and everything is comming along. Not a hard strand to grow and pretty good yield.

Ditto, Skunk1 or Skunk11 and you cant go wrong.

Can't stress enough how important variety is. ANy chance you can get two plants growing so you can get a sat dom and and indica dom?

I'd go for skunk#1 and a northern lights myself.

But it's all down to what you want out of it.

Hi,

Surely you are going to have more than one plant if you are growing from seed as you are not going to know if the seed you have planted is female or not.

That aside, I went for a Sensi Seed's 'Shiva Shanti' (aka Garlic Bud) on my first grow as its real easy to get along with, clones root so easily and although it's not the best yielder around, if cured right it ain't a bad bit of smoke either. Another good one I started out with is Nirvana's 'Northern Lights x Big Bud'

I also went for Skunk #1, apart from finding out she dont like full strenth nutes (whoops) shes doing mighty fine, its also my first grow, and she can take a bit of a battering, recommended by myself, a first time grower also.

If its your first time id suggest anything by Nirvana or DP both produce beans that under most conditions are very forgiving, DP has cleaner genes, there what they say on the packet...

Nirvana can kick out some good weed beans, and out of 10 your in with a good chance, id go for the cheaper strains and when your more confident, try your hand as someting a tad more exotic

Ive grown out loads most are a waste of time, as are most seed companys.
End of the the day its a genes game, any one seed could be that holy grail of a plant, unless you germ em how ya gonna know?

Also take time to check out Bashnakas K2, he proper grew it out better than i ever did

If you want pot thats not gonna break the bank, is easy to grow, and finish early!
Nirvana weed finishes so early compared to most other seed companys, no bull...

Give em a try, its dutch coffee shop standard weed no beeter or no worse.

Most of Maus vars finish between 7 to 8 weeks and produce lots of reasonable strength weed.

Once you have built up some growing skills, the next step is to try out some of the long flowering sativa doms, when you can take a 22 week flowering plant to full maturation without problems, you have got it cracked my friend

erm why would i argue that nirvanna are good cause they arent random to say the least ull have to really grow a few packs to find a keeper and in genral terms there not up to say other seed makers, but a good starting block

Ave you ever tried OB by nirvana its a good indica hit, a tad harsh but as consistant as they come.

At £7.50 a pack its great learner gear, as they build up them skillls, aye spend more on posh names!

Ive honestly spent £1000s on seeds and IMHO nirvina aint the best but it aint bag weed either, great if your wearing L plates
