keepin em alive so 2 speak....ive decided that when i get paid next friday im goin 2 spend around £60.00 on a h.p.s light...as u all said i would see the results frm the 1st harvest....my plants r about 3wk old got 2 sets of spiked leafs...and r genrally growing quite slow...so if i can keep em alive this way 4 another 10 or so days...then i can get a h.p.s n put it in...when i put the hps in the room & swicth lightin frm 40watt fluoro 2 250hps will the plant b able to handle this & carry on growing or will i have to start all over agen frm seedlings???? thanx in advance?

You should be fine as long as you're careful.... wink.gif

Keep the HPS 2-3 ft from seedlings.... as a rule of thumb - place your hand - palm
down - over the tops of the plants - if it becomes too hot for your hand - its too hot for the plants..

Once they start to take off - lower the lamp - 20-30 cms is about as close as you can go with aclimatised plants..

good luck.. smoke.gif
