Back again,

Thought you might like to see some pictures of my veg box, it's nearly done.
Natporucnik
The back....

Natporucnik
Air will come in at the bottom right and leave top left. This still isn't finished....

Natporucnik
I will be putting this veg box on top of my flowering cabinet...

And I am planning on running the air from the Veg box through the flowering
cabinet and out through a carbon filter.

Hello again,

I've put the reflector and Envirolite in and I'm a bit worried, guess why?...

Natporucnik
The Envirolite is far too heavy for this reflector crybaby.gif

Yeah man I hear ya! Huge ehhhhhhhhhhhh 34.gif I use Energy Savers m8 whistling.gif You have the Enviro now so might as well use it. I would just paint the drobe wi white matt and yil be fine guitar.gif Use the Enviro til it blows and then look at Energy savers. yinyang.gif

EDIT: wish a had ma camera and I would show you my drobe ph34r.gif there's pics about here some where let me look 34.gif
Natporucnik
What am I to do?? crybaby.gif

Does anyone have any good suggestions? I bought the light and reflector
from the UK420 growshop, but in fairness to Webby I dont think he realised
I was planning on using them together. I reckon I can either strengthen this
reflector or get another one. Answers on a self addressed postcard. lol.gif

No worries Nat. Drill a couple of small holes in the reflector above the ballast part of the lamp and thread one of those plastic zap-straps through them and around the ballast. Tighten it up.... And there ya go. wink.gif
Easy-peasy.
Natporucnik
Sounds good to me Nigfis, I'll try that later when I get home. Unless anyones got
any better ideas. I assume you mean the plastic ties and that won't melt will it?

Yes mate, the plastic ones....... They won't melt either, they are as tough as fook and the enviro ballast doesn't get hot enough to bother them, in my experience. wink.gif
Natporucnik
Cool, thanks Nigfis. I was starting to worry there. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

I'll post pictures later on.

can i suggest you dont do that mate... wink.gif

read my super silver haze grow thread to learn why... biggrin.gif (in my signature)

i did just that last year, causes no end of problems mate...

dont do it..

look at the solution i came up with in my SSH thread - in my sig.. cheap and cheerful and you can still use just the one extractor fan and carbon filter..

just trying to save you all the headaches i had ...

otherwise - excellent job mate, looking good!! thumbsup.gif

cheers

Natporucnik
Thanks MU, I'm not sure I will be following your advice mate. No offence, but I really
dont have the room to do that, also I will only have 250watt hps in the flowering
cabinet so I'm not sure I will have the same probs. I'll certainly let you know if
I do. Thanks anyway mate, had a good read about you SSH grow. How did it
go with the scrog you were planning?

hi nat

no problem at least youre aware of the potential problem..

just thinking about it logically, you see, if you get the environment right in your veg box, humidity wise, it might be too high for your flowering box, so dragging the contents of your veg box into your flower box will be working against the environment in your flower box, possibly making for a poor environment for your flowering plants, humidity wise - clearly not good.. also the heat from the veg box dragged into the flower box can also cause problems.

see how it goes mate, and just be aware it might not work out well and be prepared to take corrective action if it is giving you problems.

didnt do a scrog in the end.. ive had alsorts of problems of my own which ive been sorting out, but things are on the up! biggrin.gif

good luck

Well I've done it and it has worked a treat! I had to use 4 shorter ties as the long one I had wasn't
long enough. Whilst I had the reflector down I also Cut off about 5cm of the end of the reflector as it was a tight fit.
Natporucnik
And with light on!
