Morning folks

I've been growing out a GD female for the last while now and have managed to get her to 47 days flowering.

Grow room consists of a 600W Son-T in a Cool Tube with a 6" RVK for extraction which is pulling through a 6" carbon filter. Air in is via another 6" RVK and both are wired to a thermostatic fan speed controller.

Plant was vegged for 4 weeks under a twin 55W floro unit for 24/24 and topped a few times to keep the height down / cuttings. She was then placed under the HPS for 2 weeks of 18/6 hours of light, then the light was changed to 12/12. She was 28" tall at the start of flowering; excluding the pot.

Grow medium is straight allmix in a 10 litre pot. Feed is Biobizz grow and bloom along with some topmax. She's been getting 3ml per litre grow and 2 ml per litre bloom per water. I've been adding 2ml / litre top max in between feeds.

No real problems with the plant other than the lack of colour which the plant has taken on over the last month. Not sure if it has been down to cooler temps or simply because i'm not feeding it enough.

hope she leans towards the cindy taste, the G can be a tad harsh even tasting a bit cardboardy imo

Trichome's appeared on the plant at about 2 weeks into flowering. Fruity smelling plant which is pretty sturdy.

I also have a clone of this plant which was put in the flowering room 5 days ago. She's in allmix and a 10 litre pot, pretty much the same as the other plant. She's only 15 inchs tall the now. Have been feeding her 2ml / litre grow.

General's Daughter

(G13 x C99)

Description: General's Daughter is a cross of G13 x Cinderella 99.

An easy growing, balanced indica/sativa F1 hybrid with sugar-frosted buds
and a terrific "sweet and sour" taste. Matures 55 days after induction.


Additional notes:

The first release, in 2002, of General's Daughter was a cross of a '97

vintage G13 x Northern Lights bred by the California breeder NCGA,

and a '99 vintage Cinderella 99, which is a Jack Herer hybrid stabilized
by another American breeder, Soul.

The resulting cross gave this hybrid its reputation for ultra-potent, sugar-coated
buds with the great taste of Cinderella and the strong, Magic Carpet ride-like
high of G13.

However, I felt the Northern Lights in the mother detracted from GD's strengths,
muffled them somewhat, and also added unnecessary instability to its phenotype
due to the F2 nature of the cross.


This new release of GD uses the original pure G13 as the breeding mother
with the same '99 vintage Cinderella father.


The pure G13 was obtained through the remarkable cannabis sex-reversal work
being pioneered in Holland and Canada right now, in particular by a Canadian
breeder Stonpony, who successfully reversed and seeded the legendary "Airborne"
clone of G13, creating viable female seeds which are exact genetic replicas
of the original clone.

Unlike the G13nl mother used in the first release of GD, the G13 mother
has beautiful stature, strong vigour, and stability of phenotype.

It has made an outstanding breeding mother, imparting each of these traits
to this new release of GD, as well as slightly increased potency.

Easy to grow, quick to flower, a good yielder and snow-white buds - what
else is there to say?

49 days into flowering now and the plants are starting to fatten up a little. Top bud is up to 36" tall excluding the pot.

Almost forgot about the clone !

She's on day 8 of flowering now and has stretched somewhat. She started at 15" excluding the pot and is now up to 21"

Wasn't sure how long these would take to finish but was hoping for a little more 'swell' on the calyxes. Heady high sounds good to me HS I'll maybe harvest a few stems at weeks 8 to 'test' her

if GD mk2 is anything like the 1st then she'll put a lot of weight on in the last two weeks and those calyxes will swell up like pop corn

I've cut the feed down to 2ml grow and 1 ml bloom as of this evening and she'll maybe go another week tops of flowering.

Trichome colouring is mainly milky and the plant has a healthy covering. Calyxes are swelling too No height gain this week she's still 36" tall.

Onto the bad news ... few stealth bananas ... not all over the plant, perhaps 20 scattered about. Easy to spot two here on a lower tip ...

I'll be keeping an eye on the trich colour over the next few days and see how they go. Haven't taken any samplers yet either ...

Edited to add the clone is on day 16 of flowering. Colour is strong and bud there's a good amount of pistil growth. Feeding her 2ml grow and 1 ml bloom per litre water. 2ml per litre top max on alternate feeds.

New pistil growth is still looking pretty strong. Buds are swelling and trichome colour has turned to translucent white all over the plant. I have a feeling she'll be down by the weekend



Could be a problem there ! I have a few other plants in the flowering room keeping her company ... None of the male flowers have opened up yet which is good news. Buds are swellling and trichome colour has turned to translucent white all over the plant.

Give the seeds a bash Laz; you might get a surprise. I'll be happy with a slight s/b bearing plant if it makes up for it in other departments. Still got another 8 beans to germinate in the future too

She's been hung and had a rough manicure. Smells very fruity !

As for the clone she's 22 days on. Feeding her 3ml grow + 2ml bloom / litre water. Top max at 3ml / litre. Colouring is looking great and growth is pretty strong. She's up to 24" tall excluding the pot. Trichome formation has also started.

I'll continue the clone grow in a seperate thread and finish here with some manicured bud shots when i get them ... Well pleased though with the result so far. Still haven't sampled her yet either !
