Again thinking about my 1st grow, due to start May, and while loads recommend DP Skunk No1 and FD The Pure I have an inbuild mechnism to go against the majority for some reason

So I was thing about Mazar, whats it like grow and highwise? How does it compare to Skunk No1 and The Pure? I guess those two are pretty much the same, yeah?
looking on overgrow the Skunk No1 is only 8.1% THC while the Mazar's an appealling 19.5% does anyone know what The Pure's thc content would be?

Well now, harumph, I could go on for hours about these two strains.
Personally I ignore all THC figures. Total bullshyte IMHO. Smoke it and see is the way to go.
Skunk/The Pure is 75% Sativa (if you believe the hype ). Sensiseeds Sk No.1 is certainly (the 1998 vintage at least) a fine "up" smoke, really quite potent.
Mazar is almost a twin of Superskunk. I grew them side by side and it was hard to tell them apart even after drying curing and smoking. The grow, the smell, the taste and the hit - all identical. Very Bloody Strong, full on Indica couchlox. Fizzing foreheads, dreamy eyed munchies and all.
Can't really be compared - they're such different hits.
God knows which one I would have if I was limited to just 1.

Grow 'em all, that's what I say!

on the strainguide reports a few had a more sativa like heady high pheno, which would really have been what I was looking for as a mother for the next grows, but I might just go for the skunk no1 first time round and keep a good mother so I can germ indicas on the next. thanks again
