Firstly I must say what a site! I've been reading the posts etc for a while now and
I've finally plucked up the courage to join. Although I must say I am rather
paranoid about getting involved especially after reading about
greenthumb-=P.I.M.P.=-clan int's experience on OverGrow (see link)

I've got lots of questions as you can imagine and also a few ideas of my own, but
as I said I'm rather nervous about security being a noob 'n' all. It would put my
mind at rest if the mods/admins could put me straight about what info they store
about us (i.p. addresses, email adresses etc), how secure it is and wether or not
there are contingency plans for getting rid of said info in the event of old bill
snooping about.

I'm in the process of preparing for my first grow, gathering equipment etc. I still
need to buy the most expensive parts of this hobby ie. lights, reflector, filter etc
etc. I still haven't decided what lights to go for, but probably fluoros for my
nursery and a 250watt hps for my grow room. I'm planning on doing a scrog with
2 ladies in a stealth cabinet ( 1.5ftx2ftx3ft or 52cmx66cmx96cm) I'm planning on
getting all of my kit from the 420 shop but I couldn't see any kits as on other sites.
Are you guys planning on adding them to your inventory? I'm sure many people
would be interested, especially if there is money to be saved.

But any activity on the internet is relatively viewable by anyone with the urge and technology. Your strengh and security is that there are no commercial growers on the site and therefore any copper who spent time pursuing such matters would be a complete lunatic.

Dont panic mate, that whole post was a windup. everything i posted in it was total bollocks!!!!! I cant stress that enough so anyone whos read that and things ive seriously had all my kit dumped by the misses, IT NOT TRUE!!!!! My misses is les paraniod about my grows then i am, just follow the simple rules and tell NO ONE about your grow. Its that easy in my opinion. So appologies to anyone who has read that post and is freaking out abit, im sure more will be along soon to confirm this, Good luck!

I did get the impression that you were taking the piss a bit, but I wasn't sure
all the same. Nice to hear that the server is in Holland, although I am aware
that where there is a will there is a way. I work in IT and I know that nothing
is 100% secure. By the way if anyone needs some techie advice then dont
hesitate to contact me, I work in support and am very patient with people who
are non technical! Or as we call them Computer Users Non Technical!

But seriously no offence meant, thats just one of our private jokes. If anyone

I have a question for you, can I change my alias name? I chose toker1 without

As I said previously I'm a bit of a techie and one of my interests with computers
is making them as quiet as possible. One forum I occasionally frequent is

They also have a very good forum with lots of people coming up with imaginitive
ideas on how they can DIY stuff for there computers. Its got a similar vibe to this place apart from the obvious dope side of things. One thing that 'modders' (people who modify there computers) look for in say for example computer fans is there Db (decibel) rating. I was surprised that on none of the grow sites that I have
visited is this info stated with the fans they sell. This would be very useful for
people when deciding what fan to buy, especially if they are doing a stealth grow.

One thing that has been noted is that manufacturers of computer components watch and follow the trends of there buyers on sites like this and then make
there components accordingly.

As far as the pimps busted drivel, its as credible as any other fairy story and it had nothing to do with his IP. As far as I know no one has ever been busted via IP at OG, CW or any other dope site that has its server in a cannabis friendly country.

what you post someone may recognise it and grass you up. And just because
they are a smoker doesn't mean they wont, lets face it how many old bill smoke?!

Thanks for the link Binary, it would be a good idea if we could have some reviews
of the kit on sale on UK420. Maybe comparisons of similar fans quietest versus
most powerful etc, it would help people to make informed decisions when choosing
these items. I for example will require a fan for my cabinet (1.5ftx2ftx3ft) which is
reasonably quiet, but that does the job adequately.

Just following up on your introduction the other day that you mention in your post. Lots of us here have accounts at C.W and O.G and I was hoping you could go into some detail about your problems. Being ages ago I feel it will be fine for you to tell us all, as you can imagine it left some people kinda jumpy. Did you clear your account at O.G when you left. Can you point us in the direction of the posts that got you in trouble. I have good connections at both sites and would love to get to the bottom of this. For our sake you have an obligation to fill us in mate..

If you point us to the pics wecan see how your neighbour recognised your grow. If they have seen the inside of your grow then grassed you up then its nothing to do with O.G. If they have not seen the inside of your grow then how to they recognise.

IT IS YOUR MORAL OBLIGATION TO GO INTO THE STATEMENTS YOU HAVE MADE. We welcome you whole heartedly here but i feel this issue needs to be addressed now. You must imagine the fears its caused so i look forward to your detailed response. Exactly what threads and when were they? We can search on O.G and confirm. Was your account completely deleted.
