Yes.
It is my preferred day time pain control. That's because it has a good "Up" buzz, allows me to get on with things. But in the evening I prefer a more Indica dominant strain.
But to be honest what works for one is not always the way for others. Most folk will suggest a heavy Indica for pain control. Depends on the pain, is my response. For muscular pain, fine. But for neurological pain - well, Indica isn't always the No.1. And if you need pain control in the day time, Indicas can be too heavy.
Soooooo.... Try a few strains (a trip to Amsterdam?) and see what works best for you .

I have smoked skunk #1 when I had a migraine and it didn't do the job as well as a more indica strain I previously grew. When I have a migraine tho I need something to put me to sleep as quickly as possible before I start vomiting. Sk#1 didn't send me to sleep. Great buzz and taste tho wink.gif One of my fav strains.

As arnie says depends what kind of pain relief you looking for from a particular strain. Depends on the type of pain too.

Good luck in your quest wink.gif

EO: When my GF gets a migraine (few and far now, thankfully - White Willow Bark? may very well be...... ramble ramble ramble OI get back to the point ya old stoner git) Ooops sorry, yeah she goes dashing for the Pot of Gold.
I keep some on stand-by for her, JIC

Add-on: I find that if your condition is permanent as mine is ("chronic pain" as they call it) too much Indica can be less thean helpful with the inevitable depression. It encourages too much couch lazing and introspection (in my case, I hasten to add). So another reason to like Skunk or some Sativa influence at least - ya need the "giggle" factor.

Ah great news about the POG, RD has been mumbling about growing that for ages. ( I may give him a nudge in the direction of the Uk420 shop with his debit card. wink.gif )

I have recently started new migraine meds and they are a bit bonkers tbh ( shift the migraines so far tho wink.gif ) and I can't function well after taking them. So a new strain would be welcomed.

I concur about the too much sitting round navel gazing with indica strains too. Encourage more lazing about sleeping in me. Sometimes that is useful, but can be depressing if you don't achieve a lighter high every now and again. FDM's C99 was a good giggle strain for me wink.gif

as much as i like a good strong sleep-inducing indica, and i do, i am pretty sure indica-doms agrevate my depression where-as sat-doms definitely lift me up.

ive noticed this effect several times now with strains like Orange Bud and Silver Pearl, both lovely strains, indica-dominant, but can lead me on to a downward spiral if i smoke too much of them over a few days.

i also think the indica doms make my joint pains worse, not better, and i dont know why that is. i get a lot of pain induced by anxiety, stiffness and deep joint pains, and indicas do not help and can make things worse.

those are just my experiences... personally, i like power plant for a day time smoke that makes me feel better, motivated, and relieves me of aches and pains.

i really must try skunk no.1 though, some time.
