could anyone in there wisdom tell us the definitive feeding structure for ionics grow(ive got cuts 2 wks from mother-given em just over qaurt strength last friday....no ec.....topping with ph water....think the plant needs more....light green in bottom leaves and ram horning....thought it was watering frequency....turned it back to every 6 hrs@15mins....but im thinking as it came from a mother presumably on more food....maybe after i do ph flush 2 mora....could i go to perhaps full half strength 3.5ml/ltr.....its just the leaves are quite light green and im a bit worried.

dyo reckon i should keep to feeds every 6 hrs at half strength starting 2mora...or will that b too much 4 the plant.....temps ok hum ok....sitting on 100% clay with 1" rockwool plug....just dont know the problem.....

any help will b appreciated. 34.gif

do you really need to use ph down with ionic hard water grow.....ive read that it ionics acts as a good buffer....my ph b4 adding nutes is 7.8....would it b ok just to add grow to water......no ph down.....im on hydro...hydroton/rock 34.gif

I'd test the PH after adding nutes, than add some more PH down if needed, what's the PH after you've added the nutes?

i think ionics is suppused to keep the ph stable once u have got the right ph to begin with.

but if ur only adding quarter nutes then u might need to add ph down.

i used to use ionics and 7ml a litre gets a nice ph maybe still need a few drops tho.(in hydro).

a wrong ph will lockout nutes making it hard to tell what they need.

anyway i would give cuttings halve strengh ionics as they are more like an adult plant than a seedling my 2 cents worth
