Can anyone help, I read a post on here somewhere about air cooling fans but can't find it now. So does anyone know anything about them, ie what sort of sizes they come in and how much they cost. Have trouble with humidity being low during grow period. Have tried lots of other thing , turned fan down misting the air, damp clothes all helped a little but could do with more. Thanks smoke.gif

very small grow cupboard with 250 light 3x3x6(w,d,h) temp 82 which we can control with the ex fan controller. but we get temp down and lose humidity thats the problem

i think i know what u mean, you add cold water and ice to it and it sends the air through a kind of radiator that cools it down a fair bit, a lot cheaper to run than a air conditioner but how long the water would stay cold in a grow room i dont know.
Keep plenty of ice cubes in the freezer

If it's low humidity you're worried about, I'm not sure that air cooling will help. I pull my air from an unheated room and my I struggle to keep my humidity above 20% on a cold day. I'm sure? that cold air is usually dryer than warm air given similar moisture levels simply because relative humidity drops with temperature until, close to 0 C, all moisture condenses out of the atmosphere as dew or frost. Think of India in summer.

Beware, this could be wrong because I'm very drunk and stoned!

you can look into a small humidifier, or somethin like that.. your temps will get really low if you put a air cooler in the equasion... 82 is not an outragiously high temp dude.. if you put cold air to maintain humidity, you may as well get a heater to put your temps back up...

tree's up!
