Anybody grown this recently?
Going to start this in the next month or so. Will be organically grown with BBz products throughout. Allmix, Root Juice, Grow, Bloom, TMax.
Will use OT's grow schedule to start off, but always found you have to tweak a bit during grows for different strains. So if anyone has their findings as to their grow regime as to BBz nutes for this strain I would be greatful of their findings.
Not sure to go 400w HPS throughout (got great results with the sensei star) or go
400 MH vegging and 400 HPS flowering as I did with the Jack Herer (again, great results) Bit of a cuffuffle!
I would, ideally like to mix lighting, 400w MH & HPS but money is a bit tight. Reckon that is the way to go though.
All info. greatly appreciated.

I did a search and could not find the info that was relevant so I thought I would ask the nice friendly people here if they had any more info than what I could find.

I dont know if this is your trouble but up until recently i didnt know you had to choose which section you want to search in, Eg. Strain reports or grow diaries. When i realised this it gave a whole new meaning to the search facility.

So, despite all the usual replies. Has any Serious grower got the relevant details that I requested initially? I really want to do the best on this grow, which I am sure that I can, but would like some support if possible.
If not, please do not bother answering to this post. I only require the details and info that I kindly requested originally.
Looks like I have got to be the pathfinder once again.
Guess you will all have to read and find out in about 5 months time.

I dont want to water down your thread anymore but I have a friend who recently grew this, it is also known as Matanuska thunderfuck. She grows in Canna coco though and your questions where quite specific about bio bizz. I would be happy to ask her if anything would be relevant. She just brought it up in conversation last time i saw her as a particularly great strain and good yielder.

Pretty wishy washy... sorry... but if i can be of any help i would be happy to ask her.

Just finished a m.t grow it was grown hydro style nft with canna nuits so cant really help with feeding and the likes but as regards the product all ten seeds germed fine, veg growth was quite slow to start then picked up after 3rd week, nice broad leaves no probs.Oh by the way i vegged under compact floros in pots of brocken up rockwool hand fed,6 of 10 were girlies which igrew out then took cuts from each, all cuts rooted but m.t clones are quite slow to root.vegged 1 week hps nft then flowerd, the 2 that wanted to flower hardly grew ended up about 18 inches needless to say not high yeilding.1 grew very compact 1m high more leafy than the resthuge leaves 2 grew very branchy with lots of small buds the other was very nice 1m high big compact buds, all had very nice resin poduction,no probs with nuits at 3/4 strenth no mites neemed in veg 3 plants were keepers ,over all an easy plant to grow be quite a lot of variation in plants smoke only tryed one and its very nice heavy smoke stunk the house out when trimming kinda shitty smelling but nice.

Thanks ouncyboy, that is the kind of info I was hoping for. All the info so far has been Hydro, I can get my head around that as far as compost grows, which I truly believe deliver a better end product. I know this next grow is going to be awesome. Just need to get it stratospheric.

Many thanks loveweed, might get back to you on that one if that is OK wink.gif

As I said earlier, might have to be the pathfinder on this strain in organic compost and nutes. Should be interesting though. I reckon I can do her justice.

You will not be disappointed EmB if you know good weed then you will LOVE MT.

Like you I use BioBizz and I followed their grow schedule to the letter with Lightmix(my favourite grow medium hands down) and the results were incredible! The crystals are so plentiful and dense its like superglue when you break it up and the high is simply magnificent.

Congratulations on a great choice and GOOD LUCK!

I tend to grow the more, so called 'difficult' strains and consider them a challenge and a when moderately successful can lay back and post my findings accordingly for the benefit of all.

I do not think I will be disappointed with this strain.

Check it out in the Grow Diary forum on this strain. It is as good and complete as I can make it.
