Reckon with a big of giggery pokkery it could be adapted to fit a filter...
Its on their website but dont know how to do a link, i just used their search function and typed in extractor fans.

hi roolem
Youre gonna need a proper duct fan to pull through a filter, bathroom exractors dont have enough oommphh.
Dont skimp on extraction its very important CO2

they just about work in a small space with minimal ducting but they are extremely noisy and as has been said def wont work with a filter or even a long run of ducting.

Dam!!!!!
what about in a in a space 1200x600x600 with an envirolite in it and the duct straight over the 2 plants....
cant help thinking these TD or RVK fans with a big industrial filter are a bit of an over kill for my little box..?
was just going to make a filter out of some perforated plastic pipework filled with activ charcoal from the Aqua shop. pretty much in the same fashion as the ind filters.
i am sure if i made the box 100% airtight, excpet for 2 inlets at L/L the extract fan would be able to suck through the filter....
What about if i put the filter on the outlett end of the fan so the air is being pumped out through it....Certainly bathroom fans blow out with more force that they suck in.
Do you think i need to keep the fan running 24/7 or maybe just when the lamp is on..?
My plan was to cover the inlet points with carbon sheeting frm the Aqua shop to stop any smell leaking out when the air is still. But then thought they may stop C02 getting in....
Now thinking of getting one of those small charcoal handwarmers and letting a small bit of charcoal burn in the bottom of the box well insulated obviously to made add some additional C02.
comments please?

If you get to a supplier like City Electrical Factors or Plumbline they'll have a range of inline fans from lower to top range at good prices. Picked up 110ltr/hr centrifugal in-line for around £30 and it works a treat, my other 85ltr/hr is over yr and half old and still works well

Will take a gander along there this weekend, are they quite quiet..?
My growbox is in my garage but there is a flat (not mine) above it. Although i can set the lights to come on during the day when they are making noise and at work the nites when its all quiet could be a bit of a paranoia trip....
Can set the box up so its well sound insulated and in a far corner.

Aye, the centrifugal one is nice and quiet. It's just the rushing of air that you hear if close. Worth a look for price alone and as said, I've had no worries with them. 'Manrose' is a big fan manufacturer and there's a couple other UK companies.
Do a UK Google for inline extractors and plumb wholesalers etc

Yo rollem, Imo the bog extractors would b fine in that sized space, im running 2 enviros in a drobe of approx 4ft wide x 2ft deep x 5ft high, one fan wasnt quite enough but now i got one on each side at the top corners, works fine... not too much ducting though as they dont have a lot of go in them...still at around £8 each u cant complain. Got my two rigged up to a 'reptile tank temp controller' that was about £25 from Livefoods and keeps the temp within 10 degrees.

get 2, 1 for intake aand 1 for extract and it will be lovely in a box that size.
is the smell going to be an issue?
i am using a standard bathroom extractor from screwfix which i have spiggoted, 1 side is sucking the "heat" from 1 enviro and 1 side is sucking from above 4 energy savers.
works a treat, no filters tho

I was just tidying up kitchen table and found the receipt from City Electrical Factors where I bought that 110 centrifugal fan; £31.03
B+Q type places have fans and fans with ducting all-enclosed together etc but these places are going to be far more expensive than going to an outlet along the lines of mentioned above and earlier.
