some pound shops stock em, and kitchen utensil shops like Dunelm do them. they are called kilner jars btw....

The jars you require are Kilner Jars, they are generally used to bottle fruit and veg products.
Not sure if all Tescos would stock these but a good kitchen equipment/cooks supply shop should have some.
Happy hunting

Tescos have them in amongst the pots, pans and storage containers. 1ltr and 2ltr, my local Tescos had the 2ltr ones for under £2 the other day.

i did away with them rubber seal jars cos after a while they start to chip with the constant opening etc.You can end up with bits of glass in your bud with the metal fasteners scraping the glass Coffee jars alot better imo

Don't let the glass do all the work - press down on the lid before closing & it will never chip
but they do make a cheaper alternative for people that dont keep their weed stored long periods.

greedy heavy handed fecker you mean.....
i've just realised what you mean when you say chip.......
i thought you meant you got rid of the rubber seal itself.......
are you on about the clip that goes over the front that seals it..??
your not surposed to just let it slame, your meant to ease it gently......
nice thread bish, i missed that one....

Tesco's had a deal on a while back..rubber seal jars with a mechanism similar to a "Grolsch" bottle.
1 litre capacity is plenty for a good few ounces of weed and as Bish says, as long as you "hold down" the lid when opening or closing they look like they will last for ever.
Best part is the price. Cheap as chips at about £1.50 each!

Just a quick one for Irish growers, you can get mason jars in all Woodies DIY stores.
Also good for picking up scrog screens (loads of diff mesh hole sizes n sell by the metre), cloning gel, trimmimg scissors, pots etc
They even have unheated propagators for 5 yoyos :-)
