Errrrm....HELP sad.gif

I was happily kicking Russian butt on RA2 when it froze and said the cd needed inserting, but it's already in.

So I pressed the button to open the cd drawer, but it wouldn't open. The little led flashed like it does, but it won't open. So I re-booted, but nowt doin'.

Is there a way to make the cd drawer open via the pc, like in the control panel or something?

Cheers.

There will be a little hole in the front, just poke it with the end of a paper clip..

you could use your dvd player eject or open wmp and try to copy something it will want a blank disc and might let you open it
or if your one of those that pushes the draw closed instead of using button you may have damaged crappy plastic cogs they use also sometimes the draw is knocked sideways when open so are off there running tracks
in the past i have pressed eject then used a knife to help open it worked for me but maybe not every time

Buzzin, didn't know the hole did that, I'm constantly having problems getting disks out (mainly cos they're all scratched to feck pinch.gif ), that's made things a lot easier. Nice one thumbsup.gif
