Just thought I'd post this shot. I'll try do post one on this thread every week or two. The plants have been on 12/12 for a 10 days now. Come on girls....

I've just been away for the weekend and when I got back, noticed that I'd kileed 90% of my clones.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!

thats the way it goes.

Anybody know if I can still take clones at this stage in the game?

right murph?

very posh looking grow you got there...

Nice packed out room gonna get very crowded over next few weeks...

You can take some more cuttings now, but take a few more than you need as they take a bit more effort to root from a plant that's already in 12/12......

What strain you growing there murphoid... ??? give us some details.....

See you round the boards anyway...

Here's another about 2 weeks later. You'll notice some of the stems broken and/or folded back after taking some advice on this about streeetching.

I'll try to post one every week from now on (been too busy kitesurfing).

Hello. Everbody.

Heres my latest shots.

Anybody got any ideas about the yellow leaves? I have ingreased my Nitregon with the latest watering as I thought it might have some deficency. Can't understand why though.

Maybe something to do with the fact that I'm fighting mites at the moment. Using 'attac force' (organic) from House & Garden. And also using 'torq' now as the organic does not work that well against the little buggers.

Thanks for your responses. Its nice to get an outside view and opinion without actually getting anybody inside.  ;)

StonedSkunk - I have about 30 girls in there. Trying to keep them quite small and get about 18 inches of harvestable growth going there. We'll see.

KC33 - Its a hydroponic setup, not sure what its called. I'll try to explain it. I have each plant in a seperate pot (3"x3"x3"), about 10 pots sitting in each tray (6'x2'x2", of which I have three.) They are fed by a resevoir which uses gravity. The key ingredient is a 'magic' valve in each tray kepping the water level at about 1.5 inches. The nice thing is there is no water recycling, once water goes into the system the plants use it. That means no PH worries. (Cause spidermites are enough to deal with already!;) Also the whole right side is a soft wall which moves when I need access the ladies.

So much for a watering can, ey?! :D

Well enough of that, here they are.

gusto
they're looking bloomin' excellent

Nice murph nice, very similar to my box o tricks.

Don't worry about the yellowing of shade leaves as flowering progresses, perfectly normal and actually a good thing in some ways, means there's less chlorophyll to break down during drying/curing.

Hi Murph

If it was Nitrogen deficiency, the yellowing would start with the bottom leaves. You seem to have it in the higher branches towards the centre of your garden. Could it be heat stress? Just an idea.

PS. Still looking lovely though!

but only 6 * 5.5 feet

JGS that's HUUGGEE.......

33sq ft...when you get your head round your system you'll easily be getting 1.5-2 oz /sqft....

Remember your lighting though...at 40w/sqft you looking at about 1400w of light if you want to cover it effectively....

murphoid...your grow look great...that about 6ftx6ft? Mebbe you can give JGS some tips....like the watering system....do you let the water dry out ever...it seems you always have 1.5 inches of water in trays....does this not waterlog your roots and pots at all....doesnt look like it...

Mono....x
JollyGoodSmoke
thanks mono :)

i'm still on my first gro which has got about 6 weeks left so i'm drawing up plans for the second gro any tips off anyone will be much appreciated

murphoid is 3*3*3 pots big enough(they certainly seem so)and whats the medium, i've heard 65% greenmix & 35% clayballs is good combo for a hydro system like that

all the best Jgs  :oldtoker:
