do you think a 5" fan would keep temps down in a space 6ft x 3ft x 2ft with a 400w HPS in there,am using 5 of them "Z" shape vents(2"x9") as a passive intake.is this enough?

you want a certain amount of negative pressure anyway, so better to underdo it to start with anyway...

You can always increase the vents at a later date (warmer weather) anyway
