hey peeps.i'm a newbie and i've been postin on a couple of other subjects around 420. but cant find one to ask about what strain to start with. (am i blind?). I have some seeds that were purchased from the dam about 3 yrs ago. (afghani #1, sensi seed bank) I'm not bankin on these germinating, but remain optimistic.

Can anyone recommend a decent strain for a newbie like me, and where to purchase. direct from seed banks? uk? dam? 420 store?

the beans you av got will be a good starter pal.Afghani will give you a couchlock type stone and will stay squat and bushy.Plus the seeds even though 3 years old provided they've bin kept right will be fine.

Sensi Seeds Afghani#1 is a good plant to grow out for a first timer.
Its quite uniform in its siblings.
And very forgiving with its nutes requirements, can take a very high and very low temp fluctuation.
It finishes early 7 to 8 weeks and is a good yeilder.

As to your seeds germing after 3 years, you shouldent to many problems!
Ive grown out seeds that have been 11 years old and i got 14 germ out of 20 and to boot, 13 were females

White Widow.
Super Skunk.
Ice.
Mazar.
Misty.
KC33.
Silver Pearl.
Orange Bud.
Hindu Kush.
Durban.

To name a few......
Most varieties that finish around the 7 to 8 week mark should be relitively easy to grow out.

You can buy seeds from the dam, but you will find the prices for seeds are at a generaly lower price here at the UK420 store.
