i have planted out this year already and my babies are a couple of inches now. i am a tad worried that they will end up being ten foot tall which will be a bother. A collegue tells me he plants out at the end of june in the UK as the plants don't get taller than two foot by finish which keeps things much more stealthy. Anyone else ever do late summer planting?

You could get kinky and tie your ladies down TC ;)

I read an oldtime oz outdoor grower saying they always did that to improve yield and make spotting (esp. from the air) harder

TC - I have just ordered up some Durban Poison for outdoors, so it won't get going till end of may / early June. I am hoping height will be not too great accordingly. However, yep, tie them down if they get to big! I reckon I will be doing that with mine anyway, for stealth's sake!
