Right im just starting out, but i love smoking bud, so i thought i'd grow some homegrown. Now seeing as i got fired of my last job and living with parents, im on a low-budget. I'm only wanting to grow 2 plants for my first grow, but i dont think my parents will be happy that im hoggin' all the electricity with a 400watter... (how much does a 400w HPS take out of the electric on a daily usage?)

I was thinking about purchasing 2XWarm White Fluro & 2XCool White and build a growbox with mylar all around the insides of the box, with fans to keep a nice airflow in the box.

But if anyone has any ideas, that they think may help me to start my grow, I'd be Xtremely Gr8full...

Think you may be better of with flour's at first till you got your own place mate.
Try the 125w enviro's, they are well talked about on these forums, i have 2, they are very cool and efficent, and although i dont grow right through with them lots of others do with decent results.

Anything above flour's in watts will cause you a heap more problems with heat.

yes buy enviros if you can! because you need a lot of fluros if you want some not very small harvest and you will save space. you can use fluros for veg. am i right? i have bought a lots of diferent light and spend a much money but now i better buy one good light than lot of and if you are low on budet i think that mat white paint is cheaper than mylar.
but this is only my opinion.

Enviro's are fluorescent mate.

a 400w bulb costs around £25 a month to run

but i think i may go for the envirolites. when i start my new job get sum money together... i'll purchase the lights, get sum seeds and start a grow diary.
im thinking about growing some Green Spirit. thats one sexy plant...

i read that many grower does same thing as i did - buy tons of CF about 20w each and they are not best thing to buy. and it is not so right

or maybe i should take my words back becace harverst wasn't so bad-could be better,but not very bad
