Hi
The lower leaves are turning yellow and have got brown blotches on them which is spreading to the leaves above.

Ive read that this may be due to mg def and epsom salts can remedy this prob.
Can I use the salts in a NFT set up?

Some of the leaves are starting to ram horn too.

A few plants look really nice and lush. guitar.gif

I accidently put this in the wrong section.
It should go into the general problems forum.

How old are your plants?

your solution could be too strong.

Milky - I moved it here as you're growing Hydro.

If it is into flowering then it could just be normal, old leaves often die off.

However if it is Mg then you can either use epsom salts at 1/2 teaspoon per gallon or foliar feed using just water and 1 tsp per gallon of epsom salts (but dont do this under hps).

I got 500g for about £2 and used it in my nft no problems.

Map, would this happen in a soil mix set up? Almost all (excluding the 3 I potted with soil-mix/peat and this pebble sized colored flowering solution - rest got regular fert from a 40lb bag..) have done this..

They started by killing off embryo leaves...both dried yellow and falling off easy...then it hit the 1 leaflette on either side then the 3 banger...starting on another 3 leaf set on 2 and on to 1 of the big 5 leaf fans on one side of one plant.

The thing is it's doing it from the ground up...not even an unhealthy look to leaves above the problem areas.

Is this mg or what? It has since slowed to a crawl...but the yellowing is still going...leaves aren't falling off or looking nasty other then a slightly lighter green on the 5 leaf one and the 3 leaflette ones totally yellow.

It all looks healthy....growing very fast actually...I've moved the lights 3 times in one day to accomidate the faster growing giants...just that yellowness thats sort of bugging me. Flowering is coming soon and this is my first grow...so I'm kinda freaked..
