1st grow not to good.. 3 plants = 3 males..( But learnt quite a lot )

So went and brought some chocolate chunk seeds from THseeds ..
5 Seeds starting to Germinate ...Now

Can anyone Give any info on that stain..?..

Looks like I might have a hard time getting a female.. 1 out of ten for Fugitive.?.
I only started 5 seeds of..?. & Only just started to grow..

2 links = 2 Growers = 20 seeds = 2 females.....

Still Just because you don't get females doesn't mean you don't learn ....( always an optimist....?..)

An update... After putting seeds under florescent tube at 9pm last night this is the babies at 5.30pm the next day.
Only One not showing their head...

But LOOK at the size of this one.

Make that all 5 are now reaching for the sky.....

Hi people..
Day 2 ( Taking 24/8/04 as day one.) Sees me putting the Babies under 400w light in grow room.
Light at least 3ft away from plants. (keeping eye on temp & humidity.)
Onto 24hrs then decreasing by 1/2 an hour per day till 12/12 is reached.. (Any advice on this would be appreciated)
Plants looking ok. Tall for one day old.?. Might have been putting them under the 85w florescent tube.?.

Hey there again mate IMHO if you put those small kiddies under that 400 you will fry the hell out of them Leave them under the 85watt flouro much less heat & you can have them closer to you girls.

also be patient this is gonna take a few months so please do it right.

Use the flouro to veg them to a good size & keep the lights 18/6 you can always tinker when you have the greatest stock of plants that you get from these seeds.

I know the temptation is to run before you can walk we have all been there.

Also this is not to lord it over you but to point you in the right direction mate.

Checked plants and two computer fans used to gently blow plants, Seem to strong.. 2 heads gone...

So Started the 5 seeds left of..
Will use one computer and see what happens.?.
Keeping the headless 2. To see what happens..

If you must use them then turn the fans away from them if you can mate just have a light breeze circulating in you grow area that will be enough to sway them the slight bit they need at this point.

One way to do this would be to divert the blown air using some adapted card or plastic

Let you lovleys put on a bit of weight first the give them the blast to strengthen those stem

going to keep them under florescent tube for a while..
Question..?.. When shall I start feeding with Bio-grow.. 2 or 3 weeks.. not sure..

Well Hi to everyone..
Soz its been so long for an update..
Been a bit preoccupied with the plants and life..

Recap 10 seeds planted 5 one week 5 next week.
All geminated 2 eaten, 2 didn't get further then 2 sets of leaves.
About 4 out of 10 had funny looking twisted leaves when first started growing..( 2 Died)

First to update on my mistakes in growing.....Newbie
1. forgot to check drainage holes on one plant. (the plastic drainage holes in pot hadn't been pushed through).
2. Over feeding..(looked at bio-bizz feed table but this was for cuttings not seeds).
3. Pored run off back onto plants..

This is what I have done to try and rectified the problems.
1. Pushed plastic holes through..
2. Watered just plain water..( run off thrown away)
3. Sprayed with Epsom salts..( Twice) and plain water.(Twice)

I am hoping I will get away with this as the new leaves are looking ok.

they are going to be some nice plants m8
dont feed them anything yet, the seedling can sustain itself on what it has left over from the mothering plant to cover it for up to about 2 weeks.
but after that, its hard to go wrong with bio bizz..honestly, ive gave random overdoses just to see what happens and my plants only grew bigger .

Well it would seem you have some healthy plants mate well done & for your patients it wont be long now before you sex them

Fingers crossed that you get some girls,They are Indica & will you be using one for a mother?.

Yes they are Indica.... Its the first time I have seen this strain growing and they are so different from Sativa..
Will be taking cuttings as and when.. Prob use the first male to show as an experiment..tried taking a cutting once before but didn't work. (Only from a male..).

You've had a case of nute burn there, you should'nt be feeding them anything for at least 5/6wks.
Gradual repotting will feed your plants whilst in veg, mine don't see nutes till first water of 12/12.

The new growth is unaffected so it looks like they've gotten over it ...

Hi Everybody..
Changed lights hours from 24 to 20 on 4 off on the 19th sept.
The end of this week see the plants looking quite happy.
After a slow start to the week,The plants were looking a little bit sad and hot so repotted into 6in pots on the 21st sept (plenty of roots but not root bound) and moved one fan to a different position.
Was expecting no change for a day or two but the opposite happened ,The plants picked up almost instantly.
Today changing lights to 18hrs on 6hrs off.( Keeping this time till we 12/12.)

Watering with a fine rose approximately once every two days.Nothing added just water , judging when watering needed by weight of pots.
Five Plants now have seven leaves, One plant has nine. (largest one, no:3 in pics)
The poor hole less one (no:5 in pics) has picked up and is now very nearly up with her sisters.(Fingers crossed)
Went and brought a microscope yesterday and I am waiting to sex them.. Know what to look for just not there at the moment.
