I had a fair amount of trim and loose bud saved from my last grow so id thought id have another go at making some jelly hash. I wont go right throught the process of making bubble and oil as the info has already been posted on here numerous times but this is how i make jelly, if its the "right" way, i dont know, but it works for me!

Id done a few bubble runs over the last few weeks so most of it had dryed nicley on the cardboard in preperation.

These 2 runs mixed are at only about 48 hrs drying time....and by far one of the best from this batch.

Now for some oil....I had a tub of smaller untrimmed Warlock buds, most of still attatched to the branch. I ran just under 1/2 oz of chopped buds twice..so just under an oz total. That yeilded under 2 grams, tho there must be still another 1/2 gram still inside the exraction dish. Bast of a job!

I always try to get decent butane...try and stay away from that Ronson or Swan crap.

Now the jelly bit...
Once ive made the oil i put it in the freezer to harden it up a bit so its a bit more managable. While thats doing its thing i fill a saucepan 1/4 full of water then place a pyrex dish in it, then put it on the stove. I let it get to the point where it starts to boil then turn it down. Then after a min or 2 i'll add the bubble (13 grams) and oil(about 2 grams) together in the pyrex dish and let it sit for a minute or 2 still on the stove.

You can see the bubble around the edges softening up nice.

Then i just remove the pyrex dish from the saucepan (wearing oven mits!!) and using a back of a spoon mash/squash it all together. After a short time of doing this it all blends intogether nicley.

Note the dreaded "cat hair" spoiling the shot! Seem to get bloody everywhere!

Once the dish starts to cool it binds altogether and can get it out and roll it in a ball.
and voila! Jelly Hash.
Nice and soft and gooey!

Kafka...most decent tobbaconists stock good butane, the kinda place you can get allsorts of flavoured pipe tobbaco. Its never on display so its a case of asking.

Nigfis.....looks sweet mate...i find the trick is to let the bubble dry properly, it makes all the difference.
The ratio of oil makes a difference to the texture, ive found too much oil makes it messy to handle. Around 1 parts oil to 7/8 parts of bubble seems just right

We used the shaky stuff from the crystal catcher, that'll be why it looked so blonde. The amount of oil we made turned out to be spot on. Squishy but without being too sticky. A texture like the old Gold-Seal Black. (Back in the days..)

i like to press the wet bubble through a seive (or one of those things that stops your fry up spitting on you!)(skuff) lay on a sheet of paper and dry-then skuff into bowl and heat,
i don't like playing with butane!
still i bet that goo from the butane way
is deadly on its own!
just a thought have you ever used co2?
or nitros oxide
bet that would be a giggle

just put it in a small glass jar

I let mine oxidize a bit then store in any air/light tight container.

Gonna mix the rest of my oil with my grinder crystals tonight after seeing this. Last batch made my heart race, cant wait to mix it with bubble (6-8 wks to next harvest). So much easier than trying to smoke oil, I make such a mess with it!
