Afternoon all, as the title says this is my new grow-room from start to finish......

ingredients......
1 6x4ft shed
8 sheets of polystyrene
8 sheets of 3mm ply
3 roll foil
60ft of 35mm sq timber
Shit loads of glue, screws and nails

Firstly the shed.....
RAZ
Next up is adding the foil and poly.... smile.gif
RAZ
With a bit of luck all this insulation will help against the heat/cold and make it less noisy in there.....
RAZ
Ok thats the whole shed covered top to bottom smile.gif .....

Next we cut some vent holes, these are to the outside of the shed up high because its going to be a light trap too......
RAZ
Now we add the 3mm ply, once again top to bottom....

This is where it started to get a little tricky but was'nt a problem wink.gif
Needed to partition off 4sq feet and add a door to it......
RAZ
Bit more foil and poly and we have a totally seal 4x4x6 box.
The door measures 2 x 5 ft
RAZ
Ok next came the air exchange, this is the rest of the passive intake.
We added a mini roof to the outside holes and some carbon material, it's now totally light proof.....
RAZ
Next up comes the extraction, which is a 125 rvk with aquestic ducting.......
Urakhai
LMAO.

That is superb! Well impressed.
Can't wait to see what it looks like with some monster plants growin in there.
RAZ
Soooo that's the grow-room built....

Next we had to add a veg box and make it totally light proof, which amazingly was easy peasy.....
Made out of the same wood but with 10mm chip as the roof for extra strength, sealed all over with mastic and fitted with pc fans...
RAZ
getting there now, added the mylar which made it look out of this world...
RAZ
And there we have it 1 grow room.
Just got to wire it all up and away we go ....... smile.gif
RAZ
So the hard ware........
1 x 250watt HPS
2 red enviro's
1 blue enviro plus 1 for veg box.....
1 125mm rvk fan
1 125mm filter
1 oscillating fan
Lots and lots of wire..... lol.gif
RAZ
The lights......
RAZ
Fan and filter which are mounted in the apex....
RAZ
So all thats left now is to add the plants wink.gif .....
RAZ
And finally the flowering room, so that's your lot chaps hope you all enjoy wink.gif ..
Take it easy all smile.gif

easy elzzar,

WOW!.....and again, WOW! i bet that will have dr who crying his eyes out.....beats 10 bells of shit outta the tardis anyday!

truly impressive work elz, just goes to show there are NO boundaries when it comes to growing! all you need now is a little bunk bed, camping stove, few tins o beans, and a radi and you will NEVER have to leave!

givs a whole new meaning to 'pot-ering around in the shed' ha ha!

good luck elz.....may you reap bountifull harvests!

respect.

Looks great Elzzar,

Like the idea of using poly sheets to insulate+deaden the noise.

But (dumb newbie question follows):-

Are you just using the one fan to extract? And does it have to pull air in from the upper wall of the shed (through outside vents), down to those to bottom holes near the base of the wall? Then out through the roof?

I've got a smaller growing area (about 3m3 yours will be 4-5m3 - rough guess), and a similar size fan, and I'm not sure my current fan (250m3 per hour?) can handle it....

And I'm trying to make the air flow (ducting whatever) less than 2m total.

Nice grow room Elzzar...can't wait to see what you grow biggrin.gif

Well impressed mate, your room looks stunning. I'm a carpenter/joiner by trade and I don't even put that much effort into my rooms. Am envious now...
RAZ
Thankyou kindly CoolCollie smile.gif ......

if all man needed in life was a shed im sure that would b it dude .. yinyang.gif cool.gif
RAZ
Cheers for the kind comments chaps, the shed is performing brill thumbsupsmileyanim.gif .....

The extra time we took insulating it has really paid off, my other (normal) shed has reached 100+f this w/end where-as the REAL shed has gone to 89f, and that's with 850 watts of light.
I can fit 4 plants comfortably in the flowering part and can grow them upto 5ft tall, so it's outdone my last room hands down smile.gif ........

Take it easy all
