Hi
I have been hearing a lot of good things about these and was wondering if any of you guys are using them or know someone that is.
If the hype is to be believed then apparently this is the way forward.
Cheers for any advice,

i also asked about advanced nutes but it seems ot a lot of people use them in the uk, hard to get hold of . its a canadian product but it doe's look good , the only manufacturers that openly state they are in the cannabis business, unlike all other nute company's (canna, ducthmasters, bio bizz,) for that reason alone i wanna try them out.
i have done a lot of reading about this product and it seems they know their stuff , but no where to get it in the uk as far a know . if i can find it i'll post a link to a vid where the owner of the company stands behind his product, and slates all over company's such as canna for not accepting the fact that the nutrient's they produce are used for growing cannabis . he gets really upset and starts swearing at canna and the rest of them for being scared to admit the fact.

hi
im using advanced hydroponics of holland nutes - theyre very popular here in switz.
im no expert, and im new this year to hydro, and its taken me a fair bit of experimentation and trial and error to work out how to use these nutes properly, but they seem like good quality nutes if you use them properly.
its been a bit tricky for me, using bubblers its not possible to follow the recommendations on the label and theres not much info on the net regarding these nutes, so ive had to fumble along on me tod until ive worked out what works...
if you get it right, you should not need to add MG according to the manufacturers...
im getting good results vegging plants, now, with these nutes, and my last two grows have been ok yields but im sure i can do better...
personally, i think i would prefer an easier-to-use 2-part formulation, but only because i like to keep things simple...
they seem like good nutes to me and all the hydro grows in switzerland cant be wrong!

I may be wrong, but my understanding was that the Canadian company Advance Nutrients is totally different from the dutch Advanced Hydroponics company, who I understand sell GH nutes repackaged.................
ahhhhh, right thanks vlad... i did have a small suspicion we may have been talking about different products...
i didnt know adv. hydro are gh nutes... thats really useful to know... why havent i read that anywhere yet?

no offence vlad, im not quiestioning you, but are you sure they are the same? ive just googled around a bit and couldnt find any confirmation of what youre saying and looking at the GH 3 part nutes, the doseing instructions are different indicating they are differnet chemicals...

I think its Advance Nutrients that are a straight rip-off of General Hydro. Not Advanced hydroponics. Remmember reading something on along those lines... not 100% sure tho.

My 2 cents on advanced nutrients. The canadian one.
I am friends with a shop owner who stocks the full range of this product. Here in the uk, I think IKON International are the main distributer if i remember correctly.
When talking to my friend about thse products , he told me that they are good ,however he reckons that the whole range is a load of products that used to be about years ago, advanced have bought up the rights to these products and re badged them and heavilly marketed them. Maybe some of the older growers on here could look through the range and confirm this? .
As i say he thinks they are good and do work but are a very clever and heavilly financed marketing deal. Who knows for sure? The way i see it is you pays your money, you makes your choice.

Hi
Advanced Hydroponics of Holland are a direct copy of General Hydro. As both the blokes that started GH had equal rights to the copyright when one left he simply took the recipe and remarketed it.
PS your right Ikon International do distribute Advanced Nutrients

I've used the sensi pro, pirhana, tarantula, humic and fulvic, carbo load, vodoo, senszym, big bud, overdrive, vho... pretty much all their hydro stuff over the last 2 years
What i would recommend based on my experiences is forget them, they have several products which are top class but they are really pricey. The good products are pirhana, vodoo, vho, overdrive and big bud. Forget anything else. You get comparable results using a gh 3 part feed and the pirhana and vodoo etc...and even then there are competing products that are cheaper doing the same thing. I intend dropping them as soon as I've used the last drops of stuff I have left... for GH flora 3 part or the new One Part...dunno yet
There is a school of thought that syas AN are alleged Canadian 'undesirables' that spend more on marketing than supposed research of the their products, run by goons who are used to intimidating people ...their HQ is secured by Canadian Hells Angels apparently...I've not seen any of this with my own eyes obviously, but if you look at other well known Canadian based sites and search for advanced Nutrients you will get the same picture.
Most ethical growers steer well clear because of their questionable business practices.
