Thought it was about time i upgraded my grow got myself 400w coolahde to flower with this gives me 100watts per sq ft my old lamp did me very well as im sure youll find out Giz But ive got my self a little commune here seems all my family are enjoying my Fruits...

This upgrade is a bit tricky because i have to rebuild the entire room ill be loosing the area i used for drying to give me more headroom also i have 4 mothere plants which i have to put in the bathroom to bask in the sun while i work

Anyways here we go a shot of the mams first i think

my mams are 2 sensi star, which i can tell you a i find a reel treat to smoke thus far

Now on with the room .. As you can see in Mk1 i used my fan to cool both light s this time im going to use my 6inc Rvk that i bought after the mk1 was build to pull air from my 400w coolshade so i needed extraction for my mother im going to use a TD160 i had lieing around extracting into the loft using a right angle bend and some ducting

Ive lined it out with myler and that will do for today going to do a bit more tommorow and thursday hopefully to take cuts for fri day ...

good work on the upgrade buddy added a 400w to my gr, and a 125w blue enviro for vegging, and a heated prop. ALL SYSTEMS GO!

lookin forward to the sensi, although no beanz popped so atm i have 1 ww, 1 royal orange, and 2 blueberry in the oven

Cheers guys was suposed to update yesturday but by the time i got through a sensistar joint and a c99 bong i didn,t feel like doing anything but lounging about with a movie so ill get yesturdays work in now and maybe todays final work in later well thats the plan

Mk1 air in had a lot to be desidered serviceing both chambers it caused me any amout of greif light leak wise well not greif as so much worry so this time around ive drilled three holes in the floor each side of the flower room off line with each other im just going to blow air under the floor so that my aircooled lamp will draw it up through the passive air holes i drilled in the bottom like wise with the mother room but first ill see what its like with just the TD160 sucking air out

Final day today solets hope everything goes as smooth as yesturday and the day before

Partion and a couple of shelfs and two door frames and doors to do today along with my air in the doors were another light leak problem i used velgro lastime round but this wares after a while so im putting indivdual doorframes and doors on each chamber as you can see i used thick myler for the doors in Mk1

Well yesturday wasn,t as smoothed as i hoped fixing the floor in give me a real problem when it come to putting the partion in the couple of inches that the floor was raised was just enough to stop me getting the middle section in so ... out it came .

Had to revert back to to separate floors which i could put in after the center peice was fitted not to worry though got it done and got the door frame build

Im still not finnished the flower chamber yet but the otherside is done clones i took and put in. Below is a pic of the mother & clonning chambers full of life ..

gives two weeks to get the flower chamber ready which is a nice time means the jobs i need to do i can do at slower pace a bit each day realy they aint a lot to do fit the light, door and check for leakes

This week got the floor done used pondliner over the wood just to protect

As i said before light leaks were a worry last time ...


I got some 2 inch draftproof stuff to put round the doors very good stuff does a lovely job

This is a shot all done tank in ready to go running a test tonight

Also this time around i used solid doors well hard board and used velcro again to attach but this time i made sure it was spot on

Well thats it folkes ive enjoyed this time round much much more but must admit im glad its all over time to relax and let them Buds come in

Well chaps not good news im afraid coolshade its called well not running very cool at the mo But thanks to a bud i was talking to he give me the idea of putting a fan on the end im runn9ing a test now for temps lets see what goes down ive also got the in take blowing acroos the bulb to as you can see in my pic

im just glad he has a few fans out there

Well the fan did its bit but not good enough im still way to high for a comfy grow. My next step is to fit a sheet of tampred glass into the shade there,s a lip all the way round looks like thats what its for.

Ive just been to have a little look in the loft i reckon i can get my fan better positioned to cool my light maybe gain 1 meter and a halfe closer also in a verticle postion and if i move the hole directly inline with the shade this will also improve performance the funny thing is all this did cross my mind in the planning stage but i didn,t fancy fucking about in the loft in the summer looks like i have no choice now

Moving the the hole directly over the shade means im left with a 4 inc hole in my cieling which if need be ill make an inch bigger an fit a 5 inch extractor

max is about 85f but i dont have a hat on my thermometer so maybe less a couple of degrees im happy with that for the height of summer although its raining its still warm lows of 76f
