yes BUT i can be slightly doggy, dont go around banging holes into a chimney (as they help the support of the house), just be carefull.

try this carbon filter by Elzzar (here)

HG
Vincent Vega

I swaer I posted here last night congratulating you on your grow room and asking a few questions, came to see if you'd answered me and my post has gone?

Nevermind, nice grow room mate. Did you build that whole room in your loft, was heating a problem?

Nav
Vincent Vega
it is in the attic but only 1/3 of the attic is being used as my grow room

Heating isnt that hard to maintain it sits at around 80f with the lights on and around 20f when off what do u think would 20f be too low

any comments would be much appreciated

nav you posted in design and location...
TOKIN TARQUIN
mate 20f is way to low you dont want to go below 55 its meant to be around 75f when people mention 20 i think there refering to celcius not farenhiet-

TT
Vincent Vega
well TT do you mean 55 with the ligths off

what would keep it up i was looking at a hot fan in index (delonghi choice of cool air /hot with thermostat to control tempreture and save running cost ............£13

would it work

page 736 index catalougue
TOKIN TARQUIN
im not to sure m8
im new to all this
best having a look at other peoples loft grows
but the 55 refers to any time lights on or off any lower and your plants could stop growing - the ideal is around 75 so you will need quite a lot of heat - but then in the summer it could turn in to an oven
as i said m8 im new to all this- these are just things ive picked up on by other members on here
hope it helps

Dude how's your growroom getting to 20%F? it's not even that cold outside!!!!!!
Vincent Vega
this is all is under the wood in my grow room

all it is is slates
Vincent Vega
this is what the temp fell to last night......??????
Purple Peace Pipe
I have an oil heater which works pretty well at stabilising the temps, and its pretty economical, only 700watts.. Lower than most heaters Ive seen.

Ive read here somewhere that most people with heaters in their gr use oil heaters.. If UK420 says it, its gotta be right!
Vincent Vega
just to show u now it is set out
RAZ
Brrr you gotta love these seaside temps, were at least 10% warmer here.......
Vincent Vega
elzzer it was warmer out side in the street than in my loft
and im in cold as fuck ........?
zolmes
Holy shit im a new grower but i know 20f isnt right jzz ur plants are going to die if u dont sort that out.

zolmes
Vincent Vega
i think its bin like that from seed.. and all seems ok ..?

but still .. have to get it sorted soon

but thanks for the concern...
Vincent Vega
well put a door on and covered up the hole were the ot fan will go last night and the temp fell to 30f will this stop the growth or will it kill it man am freaking out ... unsure.gif 34.gif unsure.gif 34.gif
