hi everyone

i would like to make a suggestion to all new growers wondering what to grow
as most people know im on my first grow and started flowering last week i have also just germed some more seeds for my veg room ( which have all popped out of there shells )
I have noticed on the site that virtually all newbies are reluctant to buy top price seed strains for there first grow - myself included
but instead of using bag seeds or cheap seedbanks such as nirvana
as a newbie i would like to personally recommend FDM 50/50 for six reasons

you get 20 seeds for £15

you get a bit of variety instead of 1 type

even as a complete newbie all of them have germinated within 48hrs (using the paper towel method)

they grow like mad but are easily manageable (so far)

you can get them quickly and discreetly from the uk420 shop- i sent cash recorded delivery which joolz got the next day and my seeds were here the day after that

by what i have read on this site they are all going to blow my mind ( joolz included)

why pay loads of money to set your room up and then put in it

have nearly finished my g/r, now have nothing to do but eat more crisps, so i can line the back wall of it with mylar, only 6 bags to go....

ive already got first 10 in flower but had to throw 5 males out so 5 females left
and have potted the other 10 on last night which had germed so they can have 6-8 weeks vegging time until flower room is empty i would have a harvest every 8 weeks
although im a bit unsure of what to do next i have quite a bit of floor space left in flower room so i dont know whether to reppot the 5 into larger pots or put a couple of females in from my new seeds in about 4 weeks time and have a perpetual harvest every 4 weeks -- any suggestions anyone -- or should i try taking cuttings from my 5 females and put them into flower in 2 weeks-
any ideas please

i would put a couple of females in from the new seeds, just in case your cuttings don't take, from what i read it's quite hard to get them to take root on your first few attempts.

i didnt do one i was to eager to germ my beans- still havent finished growroom yet- i dont want to chance killing my ladies so il go the seed root or change my 5pots to bigger ones - im sure i read OT saying bigger pot bigger yield so might upgrade to a 7ltr instead of the 5ltr there in now

im not sure how many varieties i have got now
you can see differences between the male plants leaf sizes etc but all my females look the same apart from one which is about 16inches the rest are about 23inches should they look different or do they all look virtually the same until they start budding

im going to do a post tonight with pics and an update cant do anything till lights on at 10.30 though

am having to do a dry test, as royal bastard mail hasn't delivered my beanz yet.

bloody recorded deliver really fucks them up, we sent our statements and shit to the mortgage company last saturday morning by rec delivery, they didn't get them till thursday morning.

no wonder they are losing money hand over fist.

me and mrs ped are about to apply for mail sorting jobs at a new deutsche post sorting centre

will be germing them before i got to work in't morning i expect....

may as well test it first then like you said
i do a lot of buying and selling on ebay that royal snail is a right pain in the arse
