What makes an outdoor plant an outdoor plant rather than an indoor plant?

I have some purple haze seeds from a bag i worked through last christmas and was thinking about using them to start my grow. But the strain base says its an outdoor plant, so maybe its not a good idea. Should i just go straight to the white widow and top44 seeds i have lying around?

It is my ambition to grow some purple weed at some point before i die... Some purple @1 (cant find the hash key on my keyboard...) or purple star once im happy with my setup maybe...

I am growing indoors. The strain base said its an outdoor plant. I dont know what the difference between outdoor and indoor varieties are..

I got the seeds from a bag of purple haze i was smoking a little while back. despite being seeded it was very nice weed indeed.

I have a fixation with all things purple, dont ask me why. Thats the only reason I wanna grow purple weed.

I got impatient and have germed the seeds. Only one has germed so far. Not a good sign! Might be checking out the shop soon!
