Over the last year I've tried DP's Blueberry,White Widow, Durban, MasterKush and Passion#1 in my gro-room. Of these, only one MasterKush turned hermie. What Feminised strains from DP, I was wondering, have other folks grown that have proved more (or less) stable . Cheers, BushBandicoot

Never grown feminised seeds but have a mate who uses DP fem. white widow and swears by it.

Oasis. All female, no ladyboys. Stable clones too (so far).

i only use fem seed from dutch passion and only had 1 hermi out ov 7 differant strains and that was from a very freaky-mutant skunk11,and no males .a mate gorw out some nirvana snow white fem and ended up with 5 hermi's 3 males and 2 females,and iv heard reports that most nirvava fem strains are very unstable with alot of hermi's.

Just out of interest, cause im still new to all this, can you force them to hermi at the end?

The reason is Ive just been reading some of Clarks stuff on Genes and it looks as if he is/was making out that a strong female that is forced to go hermi and produce seeds will make mostly female seeds and just very few hermi and no male.

is this wrong?

I'm sure you could make any plant hermy if you wanted to

the bog standard euphoria from DP 10 planted 10 females i really like DP and plan on using them alot more from now on.

ive got feminsed nl5 x haze from pukka seeds in the uk 10 seeds only 5 germinated one runt 3 females and one hermie(fat top cola but male flowers started to appear)

Crop before last, DP Hempstar was all good. As was/is DP fem Power Plant.

DP Shamen: 10 seeds : 1 looked DOA.

1 very weird looking plant with three nodes growing from stems (tri plant) and some leaves which look like 'cheese knives' and some that have grown veins but no leaf,
Other plant looks like the picture on the label....go figure?

Not sexed yet but should be F1 fem.

On the whole very good feedback, quite impressive considering the slagging femmed seeds can get.

I've grown a lot of fem DP skunk #11 and had quite a few hermies , but I've also grown non-feminised Super Haze and had hermies from that aswell .

Personally I'm not that bothered about a little bit of hermieness anyway , if I grow a plant and get 10 or 20 seeds from it , it's no big deal really .

Most of the hermies I've ever encountered though have only had a small handful of male flowers , I can live with that .

may be a bit early on this one but i have 2 of DP's finest skunk #11 which are 3 days into flowering and are showing me lovely lady bits, might be a little presumptious but i shall update if i find one or the other has hermied on me tis my first grow too

Great thread as i want to buy some female seed's but want to know if it's guna be worth my while.

Strawberry Cough by DP - 4 1/2 weeks in and no signs of any male flowers...

Also growing some female seeds, which are fine also..

Virtually anything by female seeds , ive grown out Grapefruit 100% female with light leaks and shit air flow overnuted and still they stayed female , Ice is another awesome plant 2 seeds = 2 girls for me , also ive done there Grapefruit x Nevilles haze 1 plant 1 girl this was from there X-Line range not fully tested to be 99.9% female yet had no probs again.

Now on with there Grapefruit x Maroc and also there Grapeftuit x Northen Lights 5 there all 5 female.

Rmbr these are 99.9% female not feminised.

And No before the flame wars start again i dont get piad by them or work for them there just easy to grow and better than soap bar.

Really cant say enough good things about there range , now if only i had the balls to grow "Normal" weed balls normal you get it ??

Oh yeah btw 100% germination using paper towel method and using Root riot blocks in a heated prop.

I have used DP, Northern Lights Fem Seeds for a few years.

Not the biggest yielder, But an excellent smoke. I only Veg for 2.5 weeks, so I cant expect a massive yield.

I dunno ive smoked alot of diff strains in my time and to be fair id love to try some normal seeds but for one i dont wanna waste my time sexing etc only to find out its a boy also since there strains aint let me down yet i cant see why i would want to rock the boat.

Would love to grow some jack herrer or some citral and some nice super silverhaze would be lovely but im still a noob at this to be fair as my grow diary's show.

Also most other fem seeds are alot more expensive and you dont here as many good things about em as this seedbank.

I've been getting a lot of male plants from my Dutch Passion regular beans this year which has been a total pain in the arse, I'm now switching over to femminised beans just so I can get a couple of females without having germ a whole pack of seeds.

I've only started the mazar so far and it's still in veg, I've also got fem powerplant, oasis and strawberry cough to try. I'll have to wait and see if any hermieness raises it's ugly head but after finding only 1 lady in a pack of 10 regular mazar beans and 1 out of 6 passion #1 being female I'm just about ready to give anything a shot.

Hi m8 around 4 weeks into flower after 2 weeks of veg , 2 diff pheno's 1 around 4.5 foot tall the other which got nute burned in bloody allmix is only 24" tall ahh bless but .

Have to say smell is very sweet n fruity on one of the gfxnl other smaller one is not so smelly, but the grp x maroc wow WOW smell kinda like a sweetie smell from when we were kids cant quite put my finger onit but makes you wanna smell it all day .

Sounds like we are at the same stage...my NL x Grapefruit is 4.5 weeks old... Noticed her first full brown hair today... So could be bang on 8 weeks as far as flowering time...

The grp x maroc sounds nice.. may try that in the future...

ive done mazar and blueberry about 3yrs ago,both fem from DP.
mazar was just sweet no problems all fem all normal,
blueberry was nasty,nasty nasty,although all fem some looked like cabbage plants some looked lettuce,3 out of ten were ok and looked like what they were suppose to be, but the rest,terrible man

Well you may not be abl;e to try this strain as it aint rlsd yet i got it as as a test grow .

I'm with you djay. Female seeds and no problems for me. Had a couple of WWxBB that hermied late into flowering, but I ended up with about 10 seeds in 10 OZs. I can live with that.

On another note I might give DP a try as their range is not too bad. What are the big yielders under the DP fem range?

Im a few weeks off finnishing my second grow of DP Feminised HempStar and im quite impressed with them .

My Drobe takes 4 mud filled black buckets with a oil rad inbetween and a 400W Hps that i use to veg as well,its not the greatest setup but it works consistently for the last 4 years or so!! My first grow this year got so hot in that heatwave we had early summer i thought id loose the lot !! i had a few seeds in there but they were no bother to remove from nice dry bud. The current grow looks fine and not a male flower in sight but the temps are at 75 and im confedent there will be proper 'sensi'

ive been growing female seedsNL for years , no real probs , outa the hundreds of plants ive grown .. only 1 Northern light shed shit loads of seeds had to pull at week 5 , strange really as the rest were unaffected and could not see male flowers ?? .. apart from that complete success apart from the odd seed or two i can live with that

Ive grown DP feminised Oasis and Dolce Vita,

OASIS had 3 hermie out of 6 so not good.

But the Doce Vita (best strain ive grown), every seed i planted germinated and was excellent.

Just bought some Powerplant now , fingers crossed.

DP, has to be powerplant then, for yield and vigor.

Did 40-50 snips from 4 DP's DP this year they of the feminised variety.Only a dozen made it to harvest due to the rest being nicked .All the plants including the mothers were very uniform and no seeds were found on the beauties.

All i will say is keep away from Nirvana's fem seeds.You have been warned!
