clones can be flowered as soon as they`re rooted, so if you were using a white widow clone who`s mother has a 45 day flower period, then your answer is 45 days!
you wont get much quicker than that m8 wink.gif

The problem you have is that you are growing from seed. It takes between 8 and 12 weeks for the plant to be mature enough to go into flowering. You don't get that problem with clones, because they are genetically as old as the mother plant they came from.

Keep em in veg until you get preflowers showing. Once that happens, you can flower them

you can force flower at about 4 weeks from seed, it will have an affect on the final product, most likely yeild, but you said you didn't care to much about yeild.

But clones are your best bet mate.

Nice one chaps, I have been running my babies for a about 4 weeks from a fair size cutting size (about 8 in total) on 24/0, 6 days on 12 12.... they are looking damn fine and so short wide and bushy it is a joke. I have been giving them 12 12 anyway, for about 6 days and they are now showing signs of feminism, if thats the right word. Another few days i wil have a deffo answer to their sex (to be totallly sure)

I figured if i fed them a weak bloom solution that is gonna help them to mature enough hopefully i think?

I am glad, now i am gonna keep em on 12 /12 and slowly upgrade their bloom nute feed every week. I will be taking a couple of pics to show the progress as they are FOUR WAY SPECIAL, which is not found anywhere, on here, PICS i mean, no one seems to know it. (1/4 No#1, 1/4 sativa, 1/4 indica, 1/4 ruderalis)

i wanted something different.

Ruderalis is photo sensitive i know and doesnt produce thc but i dont give a shitabout a little lessened power from them being a 25% that. .It could be lovely or not....?

How do you force flower? I presume from giving them 12/12???

UGLYBUDLY... dude if you force clones straight into flower then how do they grow big enough?

Do they grow whilst in flower anyone? IF they do, i am fucked, i have so little room for more vert ....it is not true sad.gif
....................................................................................................................

Oh yeah and i got some other cuttings from someone, and i put them in at the same time but with smaller rockwool cubes sumerged in the clay pebble medium, they have not grown at all, the bottom of the stem has swollen up but looks like it cant expand about a inch from the bottom, its like a bottneck thing where it reached the first node, or branch???? WEIRD!? I took some cuttings off them anyway encase they die. Hopefully they will grow again on the next cycle.

m8 plants grow like shit in flowering excl.gif some treble in size from induction.....
thats also a reason that your plants will probly need more than just bloom feed as its very low in N, which is what your plant will need most during its stretchy period.
many strains have ruderallis bred into them for quickened finish times and it doesnt affect thc production.
force flower- yes 12/12 light is inducing/forcing flowering.
dunno bout the clones m8, i`d keep them goin and see what happens.

no, the feed doesnt affect the maturation of them, it (only!) provides the plants with food to bulk up and stay healthy, just the same as in humans flex.gif

shit all i have is vitalink bloom, grow and superthrive, oh and a bit of formulex.....Any ideas what to do for the N problemo?

What should i get?

I dont want to Chem them out too much. stoned.gif sick.gif

its no problemo bro, your grow solution is high in N, just mix the grow and bloom together or use whichever the plant look like its needs at the time.
when using the bio bizz products, most of us tend to mix the grow and bloom through flowering, normally at: 3ml bloom +1ml grow - 1 ltr water
which gives the plants a nice balance of nutes wink.gif
cant really say 100% if this is how its done using the vitalink products but im pretty sure it`ll be the same(if it isnt im sure someone will point out my mistake)
dont panic about buying any more nutrients, sounds like you already have everything you need to finish your girls thumbsup.gif

the bottleneck on the cuttings, is a callous. it means that your medium is too wet, the roots dont form properly. some of mine have just been through it. you can either cut it off, and start again, or if the plant has got roots, let the medium dry right out. the roots will take off when they find their favourite "dampness" as it drys out. once they have started to root, then you can carry on as normal.
if you take cuttings off when you know its female, you can veg the cuttings while she flowers, then be ready with the next batch of cuttings for flowering when she is ready for harvest. then reveg her as a mother. that process makes quite a good turnaround.
