Just thought I'd say hello and state what Im here for.

Well, been smoking for... about 5 years... never smoking tobacco so only smoking pure. I don't look like a typical smoker and I hold down a nice job. I wish I had the room and the privacy to grow my own, but alas. i resort to buying from people I can barely understand and am always relieved to escape from.

Living in Newcastle uk and enjoying the best city in the world. Waiting anxiously for the law to change so I can score up here (don't look the part or hang with other smokers really so its a bit hard). Really can't wait for the day I can meet friends in a coffeeshop and tackle that stress problem with style.

Just about to convert to vaporisers. Life is good except for getting hold of the goods.

You would be amazed at how small a space you can grow in mate. A wardrobe will do. Its not as hard as people think

Have a look around the site, and feel free to ask any questions you might have. There are plenty of people here that will help you get your own little setup on the go.

However, you will not be able to score on this site. Thats not what we are here for, and we come down very hard on anyone we catch dealing, or trying to get hooked up. It puts everyone at risk, and we have a zero tolerance policy on it, so please don't try (we have had a problem with people trying that lately).

... personally i work in IT, wear a suit, paid well.. likewise all of my colleagues.. and its just so surprising how many are up for anythying..

its easier to score at work than it was at uni!!

I'm thinking of moving to a bigger place pretty soon, so the grow-my-own plan is on hold rather than off for life. And then im getting my UK420 Degree in green fingery. Hmmm... that doesnt sound nice actually.... hmmm

Im guessing im not a typical looking smoker because I used to have trouble scoring in Brixton. Yeah, I know. It was like "YOU want smoke????" They'd actually offer to ppl in front and ppl behind and ignore me. Its discrimination you know.

Im not trying to score here. But i am curious as to ppl in my area who are smokers. Been here a while and had trouble meeting like minded folks. But i suppose the line between scoring and meeting ppl is pretty fine. Just WISH that someone would tackle this law sensibly and without bias.

OMH - you've planted a little seed of an idea into my skull now and i can't get it out.

How small a space can I grow in? I'm in a flat, with one bedroom as a possible place. But it has no wardrobe and no space for a wardrobe. I've looked at kits such as http://www.growell.co.uk/p/1538/Hobby_Kit__NFT_250.html but don't they have to be sortof put in a box away somewhere??

And supposing I found a place, how long would it take from planting seeds to harvest? (on avg.)

Hi mate and welcome,

Have a look around the growrooms forum people are growing in everything from chests of drawers to old fridges to fully constructed stealth growrooms. From seed to first harvest can be done on average, for me anyway, is about 3 1/2 months, the first month for vegging, and the last 10 weeks for flowering, but it all depends on what strain you want to grow. Some strains flower in 8 weeks, some mental sativas stake up to 16 weeks .

Now you've arrived and the seed has been planted in your head it won't be long before you've got a grow on, be careful though mate this site is more addictive than crack
