Evening all, i was in looking at the plants this afternoon and i notice that on one of them (first pic) there are not many fan leaves anymore and a number of the leaves are loosing their yellow colour. It's a cheese strain if it makes any difference.

Also on the second plant (2nd pic) there is quite a bit of yellowing in the leaves as well. I am just over 5 weeks into flowering, they are in bat guano mix and they are being fed plant magic soil bloom 4 ml per litre and bloom boost, 1 ml per litre.

Humidity is currently 51% and temps are 26 degrees

soory to jump in on ya thread ,but i have the same with my sweet seeds in allmix , and you dont have to ph in soil? now im using 4ml bloom and 1 to 2ml grow /bio bizz,and im about 32 days into flower . i have fed epsoms and uped the grow but my girls look the same ! and i carnt post pics at the mo,thats why im hijacking , sorry , hope you get your input

Not checked the Ph, i was under the impression you didnt have to with soil.

it looks like a nitrogen def to me ! have you gave any epsom salts yet ?, but only wen needed .i have the same prob as aid and ive uped the grow and bloom and still got the yellow leafs.but not as bad ,any 1 have any ideas , i herd that fish mix is good for a n def in flower ?

Not given them anything except nutes. Can i get epsom salts from b+q or and kind of garden/diy place? May try the salts and up nutes a lil to see if that helps

Absolutly not ,first figure is it mg or N deficiency . IMO

get a clear pictures off leaf it self/take one or two down,maybe from one thats half green . N usually starts from lover leavs up .And Mg sings are yelowing between the vains as far as i now.


Ph in compost is self buffering,so no need to check Ph.

e2a and it might be well to remove those leafs that are completly yelow/dead they have no use IMO they are good surface for other dissease to develope.

you can get epson salts from any chemist ,for about one pound 50 a tub , good stuff but use only wen needed ,

Buds do look sexy! 2 plants under a 600w hps has done it i think!
Not using any other nutes just the boom boost and soil bloom
yeah, i can add a few cup fuls actually so i will do so tonight, pots are 11 lires i feed them when they need it, wet/dry process but it's about 3-4 litres every 3 ish days i am using plantogram bat guano

Evening all,

Come back to the plants today to see no change really. THey are not due a water until tomorrow (i reckon) so cannot start topping it up until then. After looking though the pictures, i think it could be nitrogen.

Though it has not affected the whole plant like in the example shown by Herbal. Anyway, can i get a second opinion please.

Second picture is of a leaf almost on its last legs.

When people say you need fish to make the nitrogen go up, are we talking about fish food or actual fish?

If it were my crop i wouldnt be too bothered about the yellowing,,i would just keep snippin off the worst bits,,,plus you only got a few weeks left.

I would just keep an eye on those yellowing leaves and dont let em dye off into your colas or you might get budrot thats the only worry i would have.

I have been watching this thread since it started, mainly because i have the same problem and i wanted to see what others might say, i have 3 bb and 1 ks now on day 32 of 12/12, both new to me from seed, been cloneing ww for years with no problems, so i went easy on the nukes, the first one being watered having the least and the last the most, (using bio bizz grow, bloom and fish mix), its quite noticeable the difference in colour, i am quite sure its a nitrogen def , the problem being that once yellow they will not go green again, anyway, i would say that you have the same problem, fish mix is great for this so i just upped it.

Just to add that i also feed them big bud and will soon be going on to overdrive.

Thanks for the tip m2jlv II, just getting a little precious over my plants i think. This is the first grow for me in a long time so it's all new and exciting again
